Visiting Goa from the US I was looking to dine with some friends and we thought of trying the Latitude @ Taj Vivanta in Panaji. Well the buffet had something from varied cuisines but I failed to see a single authentic 'GOAN' fare. Based in Goa we expected the place to have a few if not majority of the local dishes- fish fry, curry. Again the quality of the dishes was mediocre, soups were watery, pasta/noodles sub-standard.
The only good thing I must say was the service which was excellent and met the Taj standards, most of the waiting staff was local and very polite.
But for the price I would expect an eclectic mix of Goan delicacies to the spread. A totally overhyped place for the food I must say, Not visiting again!
