The reis magos church is off the standard tourist circuit.
It is located off the main road, and the drive towards this fort past the village and houses is devoid traffic. In fact the road that leads to this church is same that goes towards coco beach.
First about the church. This church date backs to 1555 AD. The church was built little after the fort located next to church - reis magos fort. The word reis magos means three wise man in portugese. It is one of the old churches in Goa and traces its history with portugese occupation.
The church from outside is panted white like most of churches in Goa. The interiors is beautiful - as you can see in the picture.
It is not must visit, but those interested in local history and specifically into churches should visit this church.
Probably it is one of churches which is located right on bank of river mandovi.
