Well preserved building in Old Goa. Quite a large structure and next to it there were a couple of the biggest trees I had ever seen-even bigger than the Basilica itself! Lots of photos to be taken inside and the body of St. Francis is entombed inside.
I sincerely hope that as the years go on Goa is preserved as much as possible because the Portuguese really left some very impressive buildings throughout the region.
Candle pushers at the entrance were really persistent and actually grab you to buy candles off them and not the next old lady/guy. Not religious, not lighting candles, no thank you, go away.
