There are a number of options all called Panchavati - this review is for the budget guesthouse.

Its grim, institutional and worn out. The rooms are completely run down, shabby with hard, lumpy mattresses. We asked for a room with a double bed and the base appeared to be disintegrating, the linen old and stained and the blanket thin and grubby.

All rooms are overlooking a large car park for the more expensive hotels so I would guess you would get a lot of noise from cars parking and those annoying & totally unnecessary tunes they play while reversing.

Totally overpriced at 650rs. If you are on a budget go to Hotel Abhishek. We decided to up our budget and find a better room.

i stayed in panchvati yatri hotel during ritual of my late Mother during 8 to 15 Dec 2012. checked in P yatri hotel , rooms iniitialy were given very compact ,but later showing concern we got biiiiiger room , staff was good, B/fast was given in rooms at times.. nice location. good for value money.

Room Tip: inspect rooms first, this hotel belongs to pakka business community (marwaris) so if you go Panchvati main hotel, and you are not from foreign countries they will tell you that here rooms are full and put you in yatri back side..so if you go yatri first check rooms, cockroaches are there but ask for spry. if you donot raise your concern staff will take you granted....pakka marrrrr...ri groomed staff, thali system food first muccchhhadwill ask you a token for 150 rs but take food few distance away... cheap and best,,,,, 24 hr coffee shop by shetty do not venture its expensive

One of the older hotels in Nasik, Panchavati Yatri is centrally located, has adequate parking space, offers reasonable rates and good food. However, during my stay, the lady at the reception seemed like she could do with some basic training, the elevators functioned erratically, the pillow covers in the room were stained, the blankets were skimpy, and most annoyingly, hot water was not available after 12 noon.

Room Tip: Avoid higher floors as the elevators function erratically.

Great reception staff , saw to it that I got my choice of room , great veg food and timely service. The bathrooms could how ever be more modern without having to ask for hot water at nights.Rooms were very clean and the blankets and pillows were crispy too. Mineral water could be placed in the room.
