“Great place...Deolali”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

I happened to stay in Deolali for two weeks in 2011....it so calm with its numerous shops and restaurants. The food is really superb. Fruits is available in the market and nearly everywhere in Deolali. The people are fantastic.I witnessed the Holiday festival which was grandiose. The weather is cool and I loved it. The streets are so clean and safe and I was impressed by this. I met many friends and till now I comminicate with them through FB. I loved mu visit to the barbers especially the massage...it was so great. One day if I visit India I will do a must to visit beautiful Deolali.

“My Beautiful Devlali.”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

I belong to this place now settled in Ahmednagar but very often I get nostalgic about Devlali. I had the most lovely times with my friends at School and work. It has the most wonderful climate. The monsoons are like you are living in Scotland. The Air Force (Old Devlali South) has the most amazing location on the banks of River Darna. Air Force has planted over 5 lakh trees and is lush. It is clean and green but it was cleaner during the War time and after where the roads were cleaned and washed everyday in the mornings. Temple Hill and the Army Institute(THI) located next to the hill (Bhairoba temple) is a very lively - the May Queen Balls are a treat to attend. It also has an excellent Golf Course. It is peaceful and calm. You can walk and walk the whole of Devlali without much disturbance by the traffic. it produces a lot of grapes The market has lots to offer too ask for anything under the sun. Of course Nasik has grown, more like a city, with flyovers and Malls, lot of Multiplexes n eateries too, WITH VINEYARDS AND WINERIES .The temples, caves, Trimbekeshwar, tapowan, and . Gangpur dam and falls are worth the visit. BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO BE FOR A HOLIDAY You need maxi 4 to 5 days to go around Devlali and Nasik.
