Sita Gumpha is the place where Sita saved herself from Ravana. Gumpha means Cave, at this place one would enjoy actual meaning of cave, specially temple of Lord Shiva. One should surely visit here as the narrowness of cave given amazing experience.

“Gumpha right in the middle of city.”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

Awesome experience to visit gumpha located right in middle of city. Never expected what shall be there when I was waiting in the queue. Was very thin was to go in the gumpha at downstairs really amazing and after climbing down we can have divine darshan of holy idol of Ram Sita and Lakshman and leaving that hall the adjoining hall had the Shivaling. and after that there is a stair case to climb up. Gumpha is located in a place called Panchvati - where panch 5 banyan trees are there. Must visit.

“Never thought of such place before.”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

I have first time in my life visited a Gumpha. I have never heard of this place before visiting to Nashik. I will really recommend people with breathing problem or Asthma patients to not to go inside the Gumpha, Very less oxygen is there and people move there very slowly and its way to gumpha inside is very small. Its a good place to visit one time.

“Adventurous but not for people of all body types.”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

The path to the cave temple is too steep and very narrow down with a lot of steps and at times u have to crawl because of height issues. so it is not advisable for people who have knee problems , breathing issues and people who have extra pounds in weight.

“Must visit”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

Its a small place. Its like a cave. Very fat ppl or old ppl should avoid going in as they may suffer from suffocation or find it bit difficult although its not.
Nice experience for me.
The story of ramayana is also mentioned here.
