Its a nice simple walk through streets of Amritsar. I would recommend you to do it. Lot of effort by the team who have organized this heritage walk. Don't miss it...its very relaxing and you get to know lot about Amritsar and Golden temple!

“Perfect guide Amritsar!”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

We came to Amritsar just for a day trip as such we needed a guide who was knowledgable and had a good feeling for timing (not easy to find in India sometimes)! Davinder was the perfect choice, everything from pickup at the airport at 7.20 to drop off at 20.00 went smooth, we were never in a rush and never bored.

The definite highlight was the visit of the golden temple including a lunch at Guru Ka Langar! The food was awesome and davinder arranged a good location for us to sit, so that we never had to worry about our personal belongings.

Also at the border ceremony he arranged good seats and a smooth way of getting in and out the crowd!

Further you can totally trust him regarding the choice of restaurants! All places were very good (and I am very particular about restaurants).

Davinder is a guide you have to like! He is very respectful, highly knowledgeable, adjusts the tours of the taste of his guest, has never been pushy and allows travelers time on their own by sometimes stepping back for a few minutes!

Davinder - you have been the best guide I met during my entire 12-week stay here in India! Thank you for making our day unique!

“Intesting and Informative”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

Mr. Davinder Singh is a very knowledgeable person and the heritage walk with him was a very interesting, informative and involved experience. It is first thing that I recommend one should do after landing in Amritsar as you will get to know about the background of the city and the walk shall add perspective to the places you visit afterwards.

“Mr Davinder is just brilliant”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

After reading the reviews on trip advisor we decided to use the services of mr davinders and i am so glad we did. Normally when we visit cities we just see the main monumental icons without understanding the whole context behind it. Mr. Davinder helps in understanding how Amritsar came in being and gives you also some understanding of the history behind the Golden Temple and little bit also about the Sikh religion. This helped me appreciate the Golden Temple even better. He is extremly professional and not at all money minded. Though Saturday is his day off he agreed for a guided walk since that was our only day in the city. Seeing our interest he also offered to visit the golden temple with us for the closing ceremony to explain the significance of the traditions. He even dropped me back to the hotel since it was late at night .Thanks to Mr. Davinder i have new respect for the Sikh religion. I would highly recommend his services to all who want to understand the city and golden temple a little better. In case you dont like walking down narrow and dirty alleys request him to show your around inside the golden temple.
