I went to Kodai Resorts last week.
Here is my feedback.
LOcation of these resorts is excellent. Very near to lake, Bryant Park and crokers walk.
But these cottages are very old. All furniture is may be more than 20 years old.
Staff are rude. They won't listen to you.
They will show you only one room and you have to take that. If we ask for some other cottage which is having good view, they will say that they are all occupied. But after staying there for 2 days, I found most of them are empty.
ANother worst part of it is their restaurant. It's Very costly and very less quantity and poor quality. Most of the time it is empty. You will find more number of servers than customers. But it has a very good view. This restaurant is good only if you care more about your surroundings more than your food.
It's very difficult to identify the actors in their cable TV. Quality of transmission is very poor. When I complained about it, they said it's cable fault and they can not do anything about it.
Another good thing about it is their 24 hours HOT water fecility. I think all the hotels in Kodaikanal will provide this.
Room serice is quick as they don't have anyone to serve in the restaurant. But they will disturb you in uneven times (after 10pm).
Garden is good but it smells bad when you sit there as they have kept a drainage in one corner of it.
If you ask for internet browsing fecility, they will always say that "connection went off just now."
I won't suggest this to anyone as there are more negatives and I had very worst experience with them.
