Nothing worth Mentioning but probably aomg the better alternatives in Rameswaram where it is very difficult to find a decent hotel. Be ready for very average Hotel Experience despite sending very reasonably on Tariff. Average Room, Cleaniness is major issue as you can very well make out that rooms are just cleaned for adhocism. No point taking up with the hotel staffs etc. as it looked that the professional culture at the Hotel has been just like that. Average rating are given for the property because if you avoid this hotel you may land into more pathetic condition at Rameswaram. Otheriwse people may not like to opt for the property.

We stayed at this hotel on our south india trip ending at Rameshwaram. It was a seven day trip with parents and we were so excited about all the good experiences so far. I had booked this hotel for 2 nights, 2 rooms (3+2 occupants) starting 12pm (usual check in time). We were travelling from kodaikanal, through Madurai and reached the hotel at 2am completely tired. It took more than 30minutes to do the checkin formalities and I had a hunch that something wasn't right. After a long wait we were told there is only 1 room available and we have to manage with that. On showing the booking voucher for 2 rooms they blamed it on miscommunication from makemytrip, which i later found was white lie. We had to go for Morning puja so it was a matter for 3 hours of sleep and I acquised to manage with one room. Alas, the real trouble was awaiting, the room provided was stinking, ceiling was damp, curtain broken, it was in total mess. it was already 3am in the morning and here we were stuck too late to go anywhere. The reception staff was unapologetic and showed on responsibility or professionalism. Realizing i had no other choice i somehow put up and we all went to sleep for 2 hours. I somehow controlled my anger in the morning realizing the toilets were jammed and there wasn't any warm water. It was time for puja and we didn't want to spoil our mood. After finishing puja when we returned things settled down and the day shift staff were much more professional and apologized for the overnight issue. by then it was too late and I had gone through the worst. I was shocked when I had to argue with the manager to refund for a night expense and after long back and forth discussion they relented to refund the tariff. The experience left me with such a bad taste of my otherwise lovely south india trip.

My advice to fellow travellers, avoid this hotel. It is only through such reviews they gonna show some professionalism and treat passengers with courtesy and respect.

had very inpleasent check in.... The hotel highlights everywhere possible that they accept cards, but they really dont.......

The hotel asked for a advance payment and i was forced to face a embrassing situation since they dont accept cards, a situation I hav never faced during my travel..... The front office service was better.....

The service staff always had a viered look, which make U feel that something in the hotel is wrong....none of the service staff were pleasing.....

The bed was too hard and very much uncomfortable for a good sleep.... The bed spreads were also not that great.....

The restarunt attached with the hotel was like entering a scary world.... None was there in d restarunt even during the peak lunch time.... The food there was horrible.... We were charged Rs.700 for two, which I feel worth Zero.... Guess even a road side fast food would taste better....

Only good stuff in the hotel was, the staff at travel desk.... He was too informative which helped us a lot to visit the temple and other places.... He even guided us to a different restarunt for dinner... The food there at that place a very good and very cheap as well.....
One more advantage is, its location... Juz opp to railway station.....

The room tariff was 1800+tax, which was about 20% which made my days bill to abt 2300, which was almost equal to GRT, Tuticorin.....

For this tariff at this small town, its poor worth for money.... I would never recommend this hotel and would never ever stay here again..... Need to find a better hotel

we a group of 4 families booked this hotel through makemytrip. when we reached at late night due to flight delay and rain, we were told that the booking information was not available to the hotel inspite the confirmation voucher produced to them. when we threatened with police complaint they relented and asked us to wait as the rooms were not ready. After a wait of 2 hours we were given the rooms at 2AM in the night. We are sure that they had given the rooms to some other people as we were late. When they received 100% tariff in advance they ought not to have done what they did.

I had visited Rameswaram in "October 2011", stayed here for one night. It was a pilgrimage journey and we had gone there with parents. Rameswaram is small town surrounded by ocean all around and has beautiful beaches especially the end point dhanugudi.
Rooms are spacious very big with all the modern facilities and amenties. There are sea facing rooms but its very far and is hidden behind coconut trees. Service needs lots of improvement. But in place like Rameshwaram which is not tourism friendly its hard to expect more in this remote place. Atleast it was far better then the hotels that we saw when searching for the hotels there. There is a problem of food and also language through out Tamilnadu. Its better to carry some ready made food items along with you.

Room Tip: Go for sea facing rooms on higher floors. Dont have high expectaions regarding food inside hotel as...

Hello All

I would rate this hotel as very good. Rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. Our wash basin in the room choked on the first day itself. Since we stayed only for a day, we somehow managed

Things to improve: Service could certainly be better. We ordered for lunch, and it took so long to serve the food, that we lost our appetite. Food was pretty ordinary.

We gave these inputs on the checkout counter, for them to improve.
With added quality of service, I would recommanded this hotel
