Entering Rameshwaram this hotel is on the left side. It's just a kilometre away from the temple and the surrounding are peaceful. With attached restaurant you get lunch for 100 bucks which was good. Double rooms we got for 1800 Re all inclusive of tax but the hotel receptions gave Bill only for 1500 Re !! Rest they pocketed eeks. Apart from that incident the hotel and the rooms were just too good.

Finding a good hotel in Rameswaram was huge pain. I had gone through many reviews of all the hotels there and also spoke to few people who have been to Rameswaram. I realised that Rameswaram though a very popular place does not have good hotels. Based on the feedback I got, I booked this hotel by calling the reception directly. They have a website but does not support online booking. The hotel is new and still under construction. Its very near to the bus stand and around 10 mins away from the Temple. The owner seems to have spend lot of efforts in building this hotel. Rooms have split A/C with LCD TV fitted in.The decor in the common areas was also good. The hotel was clean, the rooms were good, at least compared to what I heard from others about Rameswaram hotels. The toilets were clean too, which was the best part of the hotel. The beds were nice and cozy. We had a good nights sleep.
One thing that really needs immediate improvement is the service. Located in Rameswaram, the hotel employs local boys who hardly have any understanding of what service is and how to deliver it. The same goes for the maintenance staff. The hotel is new, so it was clean but the kind of maintenance staff they employ currently, I am sure they will not be able to maintain this level of cleanliness in common areas. Papers strewn around, flies and dust at the sofas near the reception was not a welcome sight.
They have a restaurant which serve limited food. The food was alright but again as I said the staff needs training big time. The hotel has adequate parking but since hotel is under construction the parking area had lots of dust and the surface was not tard.
I think it was a good experience for us in Rameswaram at Queen Palace and if the management improves upon the service and maintenance aspect this hotel has a bright future in Rameswaram. Strongly recommended!

While researching for hotels on tripadvisor I found that Rameswaram doesn't have a lot of good hotel options. This was the top rated hotel so I relied on tripadvisor and booked it. It turned out to be a good experience. For the price the hotel was good. They had clean rooms with LCD TV / AC fitted. The staff is responsive. The restaurant is hygienic and the food tastes good. I would recommend it as a good no frills option.
I called the hotel directly to book but they said that no room is available, however I checked at cleartrip and found the rooms available and booked it from there. In case you don't get direct booking from hotel you can try travel websites. However cleartrip mentioned that breakfast is included but the hotel denied it and didn't include breakfast in the package. Another tip is please do confirm with the hotel once you book it using a travel website.

- It’s a new hotel in Rameshwaram. As far as quality of room is concerned, it’s good in that area. The rooms, bath rooms, open space are clean and well maintained.
- Parking space is available.
- Few upper floors are under construction. However ground, first and second floors are functional.
- Location: It’s a bit far from the main temple, about 2 km.
- Restaurant: It’ll just provide you limited South Indian food only. Terrible service. Only 2/3 staffs manage it.
- The front desk staffs are even sometimes not available during day time and they are unprofessional.
- Just a note, I think they don’t accept credit cards.
- Last, It’s a bit costly in Rameshwaram area.

Room Tip: Ask for triple bed room.

We booked here on Travel Guru, but when we got there, the front desk clerk said they didn't take Internet reservations. We had paid in advance, and just lost that money. They didn't bother to check our reservation number, or look anything up, instead they rudely sent us to this other abandoned hotel with a similar name. It wasn't a very nice place from what we saw of it, the lobby was hot, no air conditioning, with lots of flies, it didn't smell or look clean. The outside was not as attractive as the PICs on here. It was actually pretty scary being in a strange town, in a foreign country on the other side of the world with no hotel, no phone, but fortunately our taxi driver took us to an acceptable alternative not too far away. This was our worst experience in almost a month in Tamil Nadu.

Room Tip: stay somewhere else, these people are crooks.

I booked this hotel after checking it out in web, since Rameshwaram is known to have very less good hotels, I checked it out since its new and comparatively clean! Though I was satisfied with the quality of rooms, the service that they offered right from check-in to answering room service to checking out, everything was filthy and they don't have a single idea of how hotel industry treats their clientele. The staff and the owner didn't have any courtesy or whatsoever when our family with toddlers wanted to extend the stay for some more period even if we were willing to pay as they had sudden bulk booking from film industry. So they hurriedly asked their customers to move out with arrogance. So all in all, not worth the money in Rameshwaram where u get average rooms and sub zero service levels. Even good hotels in metros don't charge as much as they do here ! Comparatively. Finally, their restaurant is less staffed, they will only were u blast, lunch and dinner at their own timings.
