By far the best hotel we had the chance to stay in during our two weeks in Thailand. Peaceful location, lovely staff, bikes are available for free (very useful to tour the city at night), romantic rooms, human-sized guest house (only a few rooms), personalized breakfast, highly recommended!!!

This is a seven room hotel in a residential neighborhood, on a small canal. It is well located to see the temples. The owners are very helpful and friendly and the grounds are very relaxing. The breakfast is made to order and is good. We really liked that they also serve dinner as we did not see any places where we wanted to eat while we were checking out the temples.

Room Tip: I does not make much difference. They all face the canal.

This beautiful little B&B definitely deserves its %100 rating. It is beautiful, peaceful, clean and friendly. Absolutely nothing to fault! A must stay in Ayuttaya! A wonderful canal setting overlooking ancient temples. The owners are wonderfully friendly and accommodating. This is how a B&B / Inn should be run!

Baan Tye Wang Hotel is tucked away in a little neighbourhood by the canal in Ayutthaya. It's a charming place with modern furnishings that are well looked after and the guesthouse owners are such lovely and kind people that you are immediately won over.

We had room with a canal view, with large windows and a little outdoor balcony area for us to sit at. The bed was large and comfortable and the outdoor shower, although I was initially skeptical, turned out to be great! The whole set up in the room was so modern and elegant, it was clear that the owners put a lot of thought into the design of the room and they layout. Being near a canal, you are at risk of being bitten overnight if you are not vigilant with closing windows/doors - but you do have a mosquito coil outside and the owner also supply you with some anti-mosquito lotion for you to lather yourself in.

Our breakfast was delicious, I went for the pork skewers with sticky rice and if you are loving the savoury Thai breakfast - I would definitely recommend this! We borrowed two bikes (free of charge!) from the guesthouse and rode around Ayutthaya for the day, the guesthouse is not far from the reclining Buddha so that's a good place to end the day with the afternoon sun on the Buddha's face. We also had dinner at the guest house for one evening, the chicken wings made the biggest impression but everything else was also very tasty!

I would definitely recommend any visitor to Ayutthaya to stay at Baan Tye Wang, it was such a wonderful experience - it's the sort of place that makes you want to go back to the city, just because it was such a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: The rooms with a canal view on the ground floor seemed like the preferred choice!

We can agree with all the other comments. The owners are so friendly and supportive. The rooms are very clean, nice and the view out of the window into the garden is very nice.
We enjoyed the time here and decided to stay one more night then planed before.

Writing this review from the garden overlooking some wonderful temples. Excellent value for money, peaceful, clean, very good breakfast and the staff & owner are wonderful. The positive reviews don't exaggerate. Highly recommend. Enjoy your stay.

Room Tip: If you want privacy then go for an upstairs room. If your want to sit outside go for the ground floo...

We arrived here after 3 days in hectic bangkok. It was a relief to arrive in such a nice, calm and friendly guesthouse. Its a bit outside the centre of Ayuthaya but they have free bikes you can use. The owner and her daughter help you with all the information you need and even arrange things for you.
The rooms are really nice, clean and the big window gives you a great view over the garden and the canal.
It was an absolute joy to stay here and we wished we could have stayed here a bit longer.
There are a lot of musqitos but wear some white clothes and long sleeves and you'll be fine.
You just have to try this guesthouse!
Oh yes if you arrive by train to Ayuthaya a tuk tuk will cost you a 100 bath to get you to the guesthouse. Know that a tuk tuk driver will try to ripp you off. If you arrive by bus a tuk tuk will cost you about 150 bath to get to the guesthouse.
