Please change it and educate yourself before you make a huge mistake like this in the future.
Angkor Wat is what the Temple in Cambodia is called. Thailand have nothing to do with the name. Every temple have their own names and do your research and correct your error. Very disappointment with the information your are providing to people.

No doubt a great place to go to if you like ancient temples and ruins. The structure of construction of the temples were different of those in Cambodia and Indonesia which caused most of the temples to sink in to the ground. However it is still worth a visit to Ayutthaya - away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok.

If you happen to be in Bkk, day trip to ayuthaya is a must! It is a Unesco World Heritage site, a great place for photography with all the architectures of the ruins. The stories behind the ruins are captivating too. There are hundreds of temples in ayuthaya according to the tourist guide. We took a day trip package from the travel agent in Khaosan.

very beautiful place with amazing sky. I went to Ayuthaya with American friend and French boyfriend. I recommend you rent bicycle to bike around a hundred of temple. The ruin temple around the city with living in the modern age. It's valuable to go.

The ancient ruins in the historic city of Ayuthaya are a great day trip from Bangkok. It is a Unesco World Heritage site and truly dramatic. If you like history and/or architecture, you will not be disappointed.

Be sure to get the audio tour for ~ 100THB ($3 USD), which tell you all about the rich history of the place.

While Europe was in the dark ages, this place was thriving!
