“Horrible staff”
Reviewed 29 April 2010

We moved to this hotel after being at the Blue Andaman. We realized once we got to the hotel that it was owned by the same people, which was not good! We stayed at the hotel anyyways, the staff was horribly rude! The food was gross and over priced. The beach the hotel was on was very rocky. The hotel did have beautiful gardens and a relaxing envirnoment other then the staff and food! The rooms were okay, nothing amazing; plain and simple a bed, bathroom and a tv. You can definatelly get better for your money. The staff doent know how to treat customers at all. Overall a bad experience at both of these hotels, dont stay here!

Well we were approached on the ferry from Phi Phi by the daughter of the owner - it is family run and that appealed to us.
The collected us form the ferry and drove the 30 mins down the coast. the staff a really lovely and we picked a bungalow on the beach - whcih was more expensive - but we only paid 1,000 Baht a night. It was a little like an old caravan on the inside, but we had a double bed and a single with a hug en suite batheroom and porch with furniture outside.
But the gem of this place is really the beautiful location.
Right on the beach, you can eat on the beach or in the shade, friendly and fun bar with free beach beds, you can also rent loungers with parasols and get a massage from these two great ladies who have a massage platform.
BUT THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! We had travelled all over Thailand and the food her is fantactic - the Muslim ladies in the kitchen do an amazing job - I would stay here again just for their cooking even if I had to camp.
There is a little shop over the road which they also own with loads of internet access.
they also take you back to the ferry - no charge!
Very relaxed gem of a place to chill out - suitable for anyone even young families.

Stayed in an air conditioned room which was the cheapest on the beach and it was very effective. However, the bathroom light didn't work and even after 4 requests t chane it it still didn't work. Otherwise position perfect. Only cleaned room when asked however. The restaurant was a little pricey so went next door most nights. Position right on beach where can swim at low tide was a great advantage. Recommend for midstays.dle of the road

After a few weeks of die hard travelling, we needed a place to chill out and relax. This is the exellent place to do that! Very friendly people, good food and not too crowded. The one and only thing is...you need to love the Scandinavian people ;)

Me and 2 Friends stayed at the Nature Beach Resort for 23 days during Dec. 09 and Jan 10,We found the location to be perfect on Khlong nin beach, not too busy but at the same time not too quiet!! nightlife was only a walk down the beach!!
We found the staff to be absolutely lovely and friendly, always smiling and very talkative!! the service was good and the food was amazing!!!
across the road was the little shop with internet cafe, motorbike rental and general store, owned by the same family we found this shop to be very helpful in arranging our departure from ko lanta!!
On the beach... well what can i say! stunning white sand, beautiful turquiose water, not too crowded and clean!!!
All in all my experience at the nature beach resort was brilliant!! i enjoyed it and made so many good friends there that i will DEFINATELY be returning for a while next year in my travels!! I strongly advise a stay at this resort!!!!

We stayed at the Nature Resort over New Years in 08/09. We found the resort to be very hit and miss - our friends found the staff quite rude, but they were always nice to us.

The resort itself is strange. Across the road and over a small creek are the non-AC bungalows that we *should* have stayed at for the entire tme. They were only 300 BHT/night with an attached bathroom and small veranda. The walls are paper thin, but you are far enough from the road and beach that it doesn't really matter. We stayed at the bunglaows for one night, then moved to an 850 bht/night room.

The more expensive rooms....well, the first one they showed us stank horribly of mould and was quite unimpressive for the money. They bumped us to a nicer room, but since we didn't want to pay 1500 BHT, they took the AC controller away. It wasn't bad, but not a great value for the money. The shower was broken, and you had to bring your towels down to the front desk or they would not be replaced.

Every morning the owners would throw a fish carcass on the stairs for the cats. I have nothing against cats, but on a few occasions there was cat poop infront of our door. Also, by day's end the fish smell was pretty bad and there were flies everywhere.

The restaurant served good food. It was cheap by western standards but expensive compared to some places just a short walk down the road.

The beach isn't bad, but there are quite a few rocks that are visible when the tide goes down. Watch your feet if you're swimming without goggles. The water wasn't as clear as Phi Phi, but it wasn't mud brown either.

There's a wee tuck shop across the road with beer, chips and internet, but you are better off walking to 7-11 (about 15 mins away) for your supplies.

We didn't have a bad time at the Nature Resort, but I think there are much better values along the strip.
