Was suppose to stay here for three night, ended up staying for 8... Loved this cozy place, had a great chill vibe. Good value for your money too! Much better than other option in this area. They serve great food, and all the workers are really welcoming and friendly. Great location at long beach. I would love to come back to Lanta pearl beach resort!

I agree with the other reviews about low season/high season - we stayed for a week in late July 2014 (ie in low season) and the on-site restaurant/bar was closed, which we didn't know at the time of booking, so that was very disappointing as the restaurant/bar was raved about in other TA reviews. Like other reviewers, no-one met us at the pier when our boat arrived - this isn't a big deal, but if you don't offer a transfer service, please don't tell us you do! So not a great start. To be fair, it was also during Ramadan so the staff was observing those holidays, but it made it difficult to find someone to book in tours etc. Our room wasn't cleaned very often, which normally isn't a big deal, but for a "no toilet paper in the toilet" hotel (standard in Asia), you really do need to clean the room/bins at least every couple of days... One of the caretaker staff (a guy) was super rude when we were looking at the (great) book collection (ONLY ONE BOOK CAN BE BORROWED AT A TIME!!!), but he thawed out a bit over the week.

On the upside: the rooms were really nice, it is close to (but not directly on) the beach, and they did go out of their way to help us (when we could find them), eg loaned us a kettle to use in our room as the restaurant was closed. We also enjoyed the tours we booked through them, including a snorkel trip (apparently the diving wasn't good due to weather/rain), elephant tour, and ocean kayaking, and they booked us a transport for Krabi airport which worked fine. There are also some good restaurants just around the corner, eg Lanta Tavern and Indian place. We couldn't get wifi in our room, but could get it near reception.

Overall: I would stay there again in high season, but avoid for low season.

Although the resort is not on the Beach, the bungalows give you the same feeling. The brilliant balcony outside with a hammock is great for relaxing and reading a book. We loved the cocktails in the little bar and the staff is soooo sweet. Thank you for a lovely time.

Room Tip: Take a room a little away from the small bar. Normally there is not much noice, but it is more relaxing. The newer bungalows are nicer.

During our November 2013 vacation we stayed nearly one week in Lanta Pearl Beach resort and I must say that it was really fantastic and would definitelly recommend you to come if you are on Koh Lanta. The co-owner (Michael) was really fantastic guy, who everytime spent with you some time a chat with you. Also the staff there is really funny, helpful, quick and tries to make their best for you to be pretty satisfied there. The bungalows (small houses) are really comfortable and big enough (fridge, TV, aircon, safe, free wi-fi, etc). Also the area is of this resort is really nice, fresh and clean. To the long beach it is only about a minute of walking. Definitelly would also recommend you to use the Pearl beach restaurant (hotel rest), where the food is really tasty. Everyday they are having some fresh fishes, so you can try something what is not in the menu. Also it is possible to rent a scooter, which we had all the time on Lanta, the cost is really low - around 200 THB per 24 hours. If I will be having way to Koh Lanta in future, I would definitelly stay again in Lanta Pearl Beach resort. What to say at the end? One for the road guys! :)

Stayed in off season, so not much going on in koh Lanta but was great.
All the staff here were brilliant especially the owner Michael who went out of his way to book my wife and I a great days diving!
It's a beautiful quiet retreat and only a 2 minute walk to the beach or 5 minutes to local restaurants.
A must stay place and we will definitely return if in Lanta!!!
