How they can charge just as much as the fancy hotels in Bangkok must be because the swedish guests doesnt know better. Completly overpriced. The rooms finish from a technical view is half done. Like they was done in a hurry. The pool is to small for the hotels size. A positiv thing is the location on a beach that feels privat.

Boring breakfast, but they get an extra star for serving a wide selection on bread. But if you want anything on your bread, they only had cheese.

Room Tip: We booked the rooms away from the swimmingpool that was cheaper just for the nice view.

A great location which was in town, but far enough off the Main Street to still be quiet. The room was spacious and clean with a great balcony with ceiling fan and a nice view overlooking the pool and beach. The pools themselves were very nice with great beach views. The beach itself however was disappointing in this location. Rocks, fast tides, and smells, led to us looking elsewhere on the island for a swim. The door to the room was a giant pain with us spending a few minutes locking and unlocking each time we came and went.
The staff were great, especially the tour desk which offered a lot of information. We rented motorbikes from the hotel to explore the island, and booked our tours independently which saved us quite a bit of money.
Breakfast offered 6 or so choices from a menu, as well as fruit, coffee, and toast at a bar. It was ok, but nothing special.

Room Tip: Get a pool view, otherwise you will look into the jungle without seeing to the ocean and beach. Some...

The hotel is nothing fancy, but since it is located in the heart of Saladan, it is perfectly suitable for a short stay to explore the town, book trips, or rent a scooter to explore the island. This is why we booked for 2 nights, and spend the day at the beautiful Koh Rok island. There are a lot of great seafood places by the pier, 5 minutes walking for the hotel, cute shops and markets.

Even though the hotel positions itself as a “resort”, I wouldn’t want to stay there for a (longer) holiday. It is not an idyllic location, the beach is really weird (even if large, desolated and surprisingly peaceful, great for hanging out by the sunset), the water is dark. I have seen families with children clearly on holiday there and they all were hanging out by the pool because, as I said, the seawater is not particularly attractive. But even by the pool they had some kind of a sewer place which didn't smell nice.

The rooms are basic, we took the “seaview” which was surprisingly pretty (overlooking high trees and the blue sea further out).

Breakfast is fine, the regular buffet fare and nothing to complain about.

Service is friendly.

Room Tip: Ask for a "seaview" facing the back of hotel (not the swimming pool in the front).

The hotel was very close to good eateries, and extremely convenient for shopping. The staff are very friendly, excellent breakfast. The room was very clean, the bed was huge and the aircon was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay here

We did not expect too much, but still...

First the good. Room is ok and A/C is modern and works.
Brekfast was ok, but ok in thai standards (generally low level.. fruits fresh, other food is a poor)

Then the bad:
The area smells bad. Sewers are open.
Toilet didn't flus. Nothing was done when I told the cleaner. fixed it myself.
WLAN works only in the reception area.

Warning! My iPad was stolen by the taxi driver who took us to the airport. I left my iPad in a taxi and immediately noticed it and called the travel desk of this hotel.People on the travel desk were slow to get the driver back. They promised to call me but didn't. (this is usual in Thailand).
When I called back they reluctantly made the driver to meet me and it was obvious he was lying, but too ashamed to admit he stole the iPad. He had earlier acted funny when we pointed out one other passenger forgot her purse. So be careful with this hotel...

Room Tip: Maybe a suite is better and doesn't smell.

Lanta Pura Resort (Krabi All Season) consist of three different buildings. The oldest one is on otherside of the plot, and looks not the same as on the pictures on the web. This older building is not same standard as two other building so make sure you get your room on newer side (atleast if you pay full-price).

Nice and clean pool-area. The beach in front is not the best you can swim there. Poolbar was nice they had happy hours between 4 pm and 6pm. Drinks were good there!

Breakfast was ok but it is the same everyday. When you eat there two weeks in a row you could need some variations every now and then. Coffee was great!

Rooms (the floor of the room) were cleaned everyday, but not too well I would say!

Personnel was not as friendly and nice was they could be (except the small cleaner lady)! But they did their job well and that is the most important thing!

Room Tip: Building next to pool is alot better standard than the other which is on the opposite side (neighbou...

We enjoyed our stay here!
The location is very close to town, the beach is not very nice, but you can rent motorbikes for 250baht a day, so you can explore all the beautiful beaches of koh lanta.
The Tourdesk is good, they organized everything well.
Breakfast buffet with a wide variety of food, we especially liked the "egg-corner", where they cook your egg as you like it, with different additional things like tomato or ham..
it's really silent, perfect for relaxation!!
