I stayed one night at Cozy Guesthouse in the Turquoise room.

The room was large with a modern feel to it. The room had ac, TV, balcony and a nice bathroom.

The main issue we had with the room, was the sheets had obviously not been changed from the previous guest. There were stains on the pillows and crumbs in the bed! We managed to find some spare sheets and pillow cases from the storage facility downstairs and changed the sheets ourselves.

A window in our room continued to bang in the wind and we were unable to close it or stop the banging.

The WIFI in the room was also very temperamental.

All of the above points would have been fine if we weren't paying £45 per night! For that price you'd expect a little more!

The location of the hotel is good, right around the corner from the beach and on the main road close to all the restaurants and bars etc.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and we were given a very warm welcome. The guy who showed us to our room obviously was trying to establish if the room had been cleaned by very subtly going into the bathroom and checking the cleanliness!

Overall the place was nice but not worth the expensive rates.

Cozy is the PERFECT guesthouse to stay at in Koh Lanta. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely stay here again as it was probably our favorite guesthouse during our 8 day tour of Thailand's beaches. Cozy is centrally located on the main street with plenty of restaurants and bars withing walking distance and the beach just a short 2 minute walk away. What makes Cozy great is the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful in making recommendations for beaches to go and places to see and they even arranged for scooter rentals. The restaurant/bar is also a huge added bonus. Great breakfast in the morning and a fun bar to sit at when you come back for the day make for a really fun experience in Koh Lanta.

Two big thumbs up, stay at Cozy for sure!!!!!!

Room Tip: Stay in the "Orange Room" which is on the top floor and has ocean views... a definite plus...

We passed this restaurant a few days before New Year's and saw that they had a nice 3 courses menu for New Year 's Eve. We spoke to a person who worked there and she said that the chef was very talented so we should go there to eat on New Year 's Eve. The next day we stopped there and ordered a table and looking forward to eating a nice New Year's dinner. We got there at 19:30 and got our table right away, a waiter arrived with a beer to us immediately and said that it was included in the menu. We had intended us Champagne but we didn't have time to order it before the starters arrived and the bar was full of friends of the proprietor who was very vocal and at times had a war with some spraycans . There was shrimp cocktail to appertiser and this bore a stamp that it had been made long time in advance and put in the fridge. The shrimp had a scab on and did not taste good at all. That they were only in mayonnaise did not improve matters . When we had finished the starters (my girlfriend could not eat anything) so we were served the main course immediately , this also bore signs of having been made earlier that the meat was not tender at all . Cream au gratin potatoes that tasted too much garlic was served on a plate next and it did not look good as all. We tried to order champagne by the waiter when he came with the main course but we didn't get anything… So then we skipped the dessert and went to the bar and asked for the bill, when we got the bill it was 2400,- bath and we was shocked at the high price, but since we didn't ask the price in advance we have to blame ourselves for that. The man at the bar asked if we wanted to have dessert but we said there was enough food as it was. He realized that we were not satisfied so when we paid in 2000 bath instead of 2400 bath. We were very disappointed at how little proffesional this place was and the price was far below average.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Cozy for three nights and were quite pleased with our stay. Jonas (not the owner but very involved) gave us a warm greeting when he picked us up at the dock and even drove us to the Krabi airport himself when we left for a very reasonable price. The rooms are spacious and well decorated, the breakfast was really good, and the bar was the perfect amount of lively (populated but not crazy). The owner and Jonas are Swedish but speak English fluently which makes acclimating to the new place a breeze if you speak either of those languages. There is a pool around one corner, a beach around another corner, cheap and easy laundry, and plenty of restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here at cozy for four nights and really enjoyed it. It is a modern, very clean and homely guesthouse in a perfect location along the Main Street and only 5minutes walk to the beautiful long beach! The food here at cozy is delicious we had BBQ two nights when we were here and can easily say it was the tastiest food we had throughout our travels and even had seconds! All staff are extremely friendly and helpful in all aspects especially if want to book onward travel, trips or hire out motorbikes/cars. Will definitely continuing recommending cozy to others who visit the lovely Koh Lanta!

Jonas and Bjorn run an excellent little guesthouse of 3 rooms in beautiful lanta. They arranged pick up from the pier for us and helped us book our snorkelling and elephant trek. The other staff here are also super friendly. It has a really laid back atmosphere which suited us well.

The room is spacious with a nice big comfy bed and comfy pillows. Aircon, very clean and we stayed in the seaview which had a gorgeous view of the beach, so sunsets on the balcony. Really good fast wi-fi.

The breakfast is really good, with good coffee. The banana pancakes are a must, have it with bacon for a canadian style breakfast! The other food on the menu are also excellent.

They have really good local knowledge and can recommend everything from a good bar to restaurant to tour companies.

It's virtually next to a 7-11, and 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Pretty has all you can ask for and more for a guest house.

Room Tip: Stay in the seaview for a picture perfect sunset from your room

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay with my partner at Cozy. It suited our needs and our budget. Very friendly owners and staff. The relaxed atmosphere really made us feel at home. One of the owners set up our snorkeling day trip, moped rental, and our ferry transfer to Phuket and then followed up to make sure we were picked up on time. Same owner gave us really good advice regarding ferry transfers etc that saved us money and made the trip more interesting. They even rented us beach towels.
The internet went out for the last 24 hours of our time there, which was a little frustrating because we were trying to book our next hotel etc, but we solved the problem by going down the street to a coffeehouse to use the wifi and get breakfast. For some reason, I was too shy to ask for the cleaner to do our room (my fault), but we did get fresh towels. Big plus was the full size fridge in the room- we bought lots of drinks at 7/11 nearby and always had something when we needed it.
I'd highly recommend it to other travelers. Thank you very much for a great stay!

Room Tip: We stayed in the green room and the bathroom/shower combination was a bit cramped, but from the phot...
