This is a wonderful beach, both at high and low tide. It's very long and great for walking on, at low tide the depth of the beach is vast and its super soft, but firm flat sand. As other reviewers have mentioned there can be a lot of rubbish washed up on the beach but from my experience this tended to be more towards the north eastern end and it gets pushed right to the back of the beach so you can still easily enjoy the beach. There have been teams of people recently clearing up rubbish on the beach. At the opposite, south west end there is no rubbish at all and the waves are so much calmer at low tide. Lots of bars, restaurants and hotels along the entire beach. I am here in September so lots of places are not open being low season. The beach is also generally quiet with not many people around. Great uninterrupted views from the beach out to sea and some distant islands. Sunsets can also be amazing here. Don't be put off, this beach is amazing!!
