Situated near the beach at the end of the busy stretch of KK beach. Quiet location with nicely done new bungalows on a 'garden' landscaped small property with 7 bungalows. Large balcony with chairs and table, breakfast is served here. Basic American type breakfast w/nescafe, juice, fruit, eggs and toast. Staff will appear and ask if your ready to eat, a little weird at first but overall we liked the 'anonymity'. AC is quiet and strong, all rooms have a dining and kitchen area, overlooking open greenery, perfect for families. Open shower bathroom. Plenty of storage, fridge, kettle, safe, flat screen. Bed was large, with nice linens but lumpy/saggy and cheap feeling, strange for a new property to have a bad bed. Staff are present at the front of the property, near resort entrance but unobtrusive. Cleaning/water/towels offered daily but if you want more hands on 'service' this may not be your type of accommodation.

We liked that it felt as though we were renting a private home vs. staying at a resort. The addition of screens on the windows or better closing doors, a lamp or two and a cover for the bathroom drain would be our only advise. We had some mozzie issues the first couple of days but this may have been due to coming out of low season and the rooms just needing to be aired out.

1 min walk to Klong Khong beach, a bit rocky with many shells and coral pieces that make up the sandy parts so swimming and walking along the beach is not 'as' nice or easy as Long Beach. Plenty of bars/restaurants near by. Beach area is a younger backpacker/rasta crowd. We found the resort in front of Khumlanta, Coco Eco Resort to have the best food on the beach, it's another new resort still in development (but no construction noise). Great set up if you just want to hang out, we ate most of our meals here.

There is a kind lady with a small 'store' directly across from the Coco entrance which you walk past if cutting through from Khumlanta(on your left before entering Coco). She was open until 10pm, fair prices, fresh pineapple, cute kitties and pretty much anything you would need if you don't want to haul out to the main road late night.

Room Tip: North facing rooms will have cooler balconies with less full sun exposure.
