Only accessible by stairs or bush track!
Definitely worth the trouble, this little beach is usually empty!
Very beautiful small beach with bar up the stairs with a restaurant

You will not find it if you are not looking for it. The beach is a really great place, small and beautiful. You will see may be 5 or 10 people around, and that's it!
Really silent, hidden and great place.

i first was taken to Nui Beach by Thai friends when i first visited in Apr 09, and now that i live here i have been several times since, most recently 1 year ago w/4 friends, 2 from Norway & 2 Czech- i frequently take friends here; the place is usually almost deserted, and the only time the beach is dirty is during "low season" (May- October- this is true of all the beaches on the island)... the funky little "beach bar" is usually open during the daytime w/selections of libations and snacks... well worth a diversion, especially if you're coming back from the National Park at the island's southern tip... one doesn't realize exactly how steep the walk down to the beach is- until you have to walk back up to the road!!!

Nui Beach has a perfect setting and is reassuringly difficult to reach, down the tricky steps from the road and, if you are walking from Kantiang Bay, with a steep and hot walk beforehand. The trouble is that it has become a victim of its own success. On each of the three times we stopped by (admittedly in peak season), there were around 100 people on the beach, vying with each other for the limited shade. Elderly Russians had marked out the sand to play energetic beach tennis games. The funky beach bar is fun though.

If you are looking for peace and quiet amid a jungle setting, try Bamboo beach in the far south or, mid-way down the island, two little beaches between Relax Bay and Klong Khong.
