Lanta Pavilion Resort

I stayed at the Pavilion Resort for a week in November with my family. We all really enjoyed our stay. The bungalows are clean and comfortable, and only a minute walk away from the beach. The restaurant offers delicious food; we especially enjoyed the Thai curries! The pool is beautiful as well. The owner is very friendly and helpful - he even organized a trip for us in his private mini bus to another area in Thailand.

I've been to many beautiful places, but this place in Ko Lanta, the "Pavilion Resort" where i stayed for 1 week really captured my attention, because of its solemnly and peaceful ambiance, where the nature is well preserved thats why its more relaxing. They offer and give good services that i am looking for,the food is distinctively delicious particularly the Thai Foods where it satisfied my sophisticated palate, including the well maintained restaurant and the breathtaking view of the sea facing the restaurant, specially when the low tide comes. The Bungalows are so good-looking with a neat rooms and satisfying indoor and outdoor facilities. The staffs are so hospitable in welcoming the guest, they are also helpful and cheerful. I had a preeminent happening when i was there...

arrived in ko lanta just after lunch. after an intresting ride in a tuk tuk to each o her relatives bungalows. got down to the beach where the feeling bar , new coconut bungalows , where else and a few more places where. great location we sat at a beach bar and walked the stretch of the beach to find accomodation for our 3 nights in lanta. prices ranged from 250 - 1200 we decided on lanta pavillion 600 b nice clean room free water fridge clean crisp white sheets and blankets every day. bathroom clean . nice and relaxing. restaurant had a seafood bbq each night on the beach really nice but a bit pricey. but there are so many restaurants near by . seafood bbq 190 b all you can eat two doors down and on the main road Nengs , thai cookery school and plenty of Street venders. Staff so nice, sea although rocky in low tide still nice swim .in the end we stayed 5 nights. loud music finished at 10.30 and was just for the fire show on the beach .

Room Tip: just have a look first we where in a fan room and didnt need aircon as in the shade.

We booked for 3 nights originally but loved it so much that we booked another 3!

The bungalows are all within a minute walk to the beach and are basic but clean. (Tip - make sure you put the "make up room" sign on the door of your bungalow or it won't get cleaned). The food is excellent and the service is spot on. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

Definitely value for money.

The sunsets are amazing from the bar or the beach. The beach here is rocky during low tide so be careful if you go for a swim during high tide as you won't see the rocks under the water. The pool is lovely and very clean.

The area of Klong Kong is really chilled out and slightly cheaper than other areas in Koh Lanta. There are a handful of bars on the beach, each one individually styled and all as chilled out as each other.

Lovely. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of November. The island was just gearing up for the busy season as such the resort was around a quarter full. We got a low season rate and I thought it was a good deal for what you get at Lanta Pavillion. What you get is a mid-range decent bungalow, comfy beds, friendly staff, lovely gardens, great Thai food in the restaurant, small but decent pool and wonderful sunsets. It's pretty rocky here when the tide goes out but we were fine with that as the beach is nice and we're not into swimming in the sea all day- more like lazing on the beach with a book, sipping cocktails...and there's always the pool if you need a dip. All in all we had a nice time and were well looked after by the owner and his staff. Will definitely go back.

Only intended to stay the night but stayed one week. Perfect location right on a beach of white coral sand. Good, well appointed bungalows cleaned by friendly staff. WIFI and internet access available. Good restaurant with a beach front location. Small, inexpensive bar with good views of the incredible sunsets. Helpfull owner always available. All bugalows set in a tropical garden. Very quiet location which made for good sleeping! We will be back next year. Hope to stay longer then.

We arrived in Koh Lanta and toured around on a scooter to check out the places available. I wanted something on the beach with a swimming pool, clean rooms with air conditioning and fridge and not too expensive. (no I'm not demanding :-)) They had all that plus polite friendly service. We stayed a week and would be happy to go back there. Don't miss the sunset while overlooking the sea, drinking a cocktail from the "Hollywood" beach bar.
