After a stroll along the boardwalk it's great to taste the food and soak up the ambience of sunset.

It's true, if you are lily-livered, you will not enjoy the "trek" to get there but, if on the other hand you prefer to be off the beaten track and know that half the fun of travelling is getting there, then this is the perfect relaxing place to be.

The food was very tasty, the staff were extremely helpful and Karla and Dam made our stay a wonderful experience. Thank you

Room Tip: Air con rooms have the best views!

second time back at lighthouse and even better than before. the bungalows have amazing views, big balconies with hammocks and are cheap (and go down in price after half moon) so good for backpackers. the resting/restaurant area is a great place to chill out with the friendly staff - Bu also provides road trip around the island for visiting waterfalls and more isolated beaches and temples etc which we definitely recommend! leela beach is a beautiful paradise beach and is an escape from the crowds and noise of haad rin. the loaction is perfect because party places are only a 10 minute walk away in the evening. we love lighthouse - the food, staff and location are amazing - will definitely be back soon!

It was only for 2 night, but we booked for 6 nights, because it was FullMoonParty but it was really sad the rooms, we had a type Daisy and the electric was also fallen out. There was no light in the evening and it was difficult to find the bungalow with al the stairs. When you came on, it was a long walk over the beach. It's maybe for backpackers okee, but not when you like some luxery!! We never go there again!!! Horrible bed, it looks like a wooden plank and it was really so. Delete this one!!

I loved this place! It is a 15-20 minute walk from the main Haadrin area (use the Cocohut Village Entrance as it is cemented, well lit in the evening, and less steep), which will be a disadvantage if you're in Koh Phangan only to party and get drunk every night. If you also want some peace, quiet, and a beautiful view though, this is the place for you. I loved that the bungalows all had balconies and hammocks which were so perfect for spending a nice, relaxing afternoon. The place also has a very good view of the sunset! The staff were also all so kind and friendly. They even offered us to use their kayak and snorkeling gear free of charge, which was cool because there is a snorkeling spot right in the vicinity of the resort. Some of the staff will even offer you a lift to the main area, if they are going that way or are not so busy. They can also arrange a fair priced taxi for you going back to the port.

The only thing I didn't like so much about the place was that at night, people can actually see through the tint of the bathroom windows, when you turn the bathroom light on. Of course, since it is facing the sea, no one can really see you, unless there are some creepy dudes out there hiding behind some rocks, hehe, but I'm quite particular about this, so I hung up my sarong as a curtain. As for the food, I didn't try everything, but I remember that their pad thai and pasta and those were not so good... Sandwiches though and onion rings were yummy.

As long as you dont mind the walk to get there, these bungalows are really quite nice. the view from private balcony is nice. quite pieceful setting where they are. Karla who runs the place is really friendly and helpful.

A bit pricey, but overall worth it.
