We stayed at the beach hotel resort for 3 nights and spend the first night at Eden. Having some light dinner and drinks. The music was electro, house and we danced the night away...barefoot and just in bikini:) best night ever since ages.

Definitely worth a visit!

Me and a group of my friends all originally had reservations to stay at Ocean Rock which turned out to be horrendous. The bathroom was horrible there was no proper shower, there were towels on the bed that looked like they were used a million and one times. There was no air conditioner - which would be rough at night if we did end up staying there. When we did try to eat there, there were bugs in the food - never finished that overly priced dish. After trying to tough it out for a couple hours my friends and I decided to scope out the beach for another place to stay - since it was around the time of the Full Moon Party we didnt get our hopes up, but luckily we were able to stay at Pariya Resort and Villas. Pariya was a dream come true - the place is well taken care of they have a full bathroom with option of a tub - a flushing toilet and housekeepers that come in every day and tidy up the room, they had a private space on the beach where someone would come ask if you needed drinks or food - also they had an infinity pool. Staying there definitely made our overall experience 100 times better than staying at Ocean Rock.

Five stars to Paryia!! and half star to Ocean Rock

Only get here by boat and it is worth the 5 minute boat trip! Visit Eden garden on a weekend if you want a party until the early morning!

The beach itself was amazing...but our accommodations were brutal! We ended up staying at Barcelona Resorts, and it was so bad that some people who had rooms there opted to stay at the resort beside it. Of the six lights in our room only one worked. There was no air conditioning, and the fan would cut out and was super unreliable. During our stay there was a drought so water was periodically cut off, and when it was turned back on it was sewage water! YUCK! At no point during our stay (5 days) did they come in and tidy up the room. All food and drinks ordered from the restaurant were put on a room tab. At the end of our stay I went to pay and they had added a whole lot of extra items and were very hostile when questioned about it. Initially, they said we owed 4000 baht and in the end we ended up settling at 2000 baht ....way more than we actually ate/bought. Horrible customer service! Definitely won't stay at that resort again...but I would stay at that beach again. Haad Yuan is a great place to escape the craziness of Full Moon. Long tail boat rides are 300 baht each way...so its quite affordable!
