Put a nice family resort on a beautiful beach, in an incredible island...and tada! Here comes the Seetanu!
Although we had planned to stay 4 days, we ended up spending almost 2 full weeks.
We were there with our three sons and had a wonderful time. We had a large bungalow on the beach and the staff made the arrangments so that we could all sleep together. The boys had folding beds, which were perfect for them.
The food is excellent and the coffee...mmmh...finally a real one!
We would have stayed more, but the resort was full. We were surprised they even looked around for us to help us find another place. (thanksssss!)
We would go back there ANYTIME! The sooner, the better!

Stayed for 12 nights in low season right on the beach. Single roomed with bathroom and shower. Wifi good.
There was quite large openings in the wooden planks of the bungalow but never had a problem with Mosquitos or anything. Great value for money and the caretaker G was a gem. Very nice lady.

We arrived a couple of days early for our booking and was greeted by the very friendly Dutch lady manager...and luckily for us as full moon party had just been and gone our room was vacant so we were shown straight in. We had chosen the comfort bungalows just off the beach (good choice!) and were very pleased with the price package 1700Thb which included a decent breakfast. "G" the multi-lingual Dutch lady was very helpful and had good local knowledge and made our 6 day stay there very nice. Fan huts start at (I think 400 baht) and all the accomodation is set in lovely lush tree filled grounds. The restaurant at Seetanu also double as "The Belgian Beer Bar" and serves a great burger if you're looking for a change from Thai grub.
Sheet and towel change has to requested, but was then done immediately and with no fuss.

Room Tip: The "Comfort Bungalows" are a lot cheaper than the most expensive, but are in a good beach...

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights for the full moon party. The bungalow we had was nice and was right on the beach. The sunset on the beach was fantastic! We spent a lot of time just sat in the water watching the sun go down! The food in the restaurant was great but quite expensive. Our bungalow was big and was nicely decorated - apart from the bathroom which looked like a public toilet. I like the fact the bungalow was made of wood and had a real bungalow feel ( which was something I hadn't experienced in other bungalows). The only problem we had was that we didn't realise how far seetanu was from Haat rin and the lively parts of the island. We couldn't find any restaurants near the hotel within walking distance. Saying that there were some other hotels along the beach so we did eat in a few of their restaurants. Our room wasn't cleaned for the 3 nights that we stayed which would have been nice as it was getting a bit grubby. Our shower was a trickle and I ended up washing my hair in the sink! The staff could always be found in the restaurant along with groups of others that seemed to often spend time in the bar but we didn't see them much other than that. We had a lazy stay here and some great food , Belgium beers and ciders.

Room Tip: Get a sea view room on the beach!

This little piece of heaven is found on had Yao beach.
Basic rooms, great air conditioner, warm water. Free wi fi. Good breakfast. Food here very good and cheap.
Music is being mixed by staff and it suits the laid back mood of the place.
Great staff .

I had a really nice stay in Seetanu Bungalows, perfect for relaxing and enjoy holidays. The owners are very welcoming and friendly, the beach is really nice, practicable and good for snorkeling and the food really nice with good mix of local and occidental food, the bungalows are clean. The position also is very convenient.

Have a nice trip there !
