Much has already been said about the basic standard of the decor in this wooden restaurant by the side of the road, as well as the rather acquired taste of the Cliff Richard/Frank Sinatra music being surreally played in the background! Just to correct one reviewer who was very pompous about not 'slumming it' - yes the surroundings are basic but dirty it isn't, anyway the finest tablecloths in the world can hide a grubby kitchen.
We had two different king prawn dishes and they came vibrantly spiced and perfectly cooked, while the Singha beer was a record 75Bt for a big one, which is a record low for me so far.
