Bottle beach was one of the most beautiful beaches I visited in rhe islands. The boat ride in is gorgeous too. Don't pay more than 500 Baht for a round trip long boat.

We met some people who did the the bottle trail hike and it took them about 2 hours. From what we could see the trail is pretty over grown, so come prepared with close toed shoes and lots of water if you want to do it.

So quiet, so peaceful, so paradise...
We only had half a day there, but would definitely go back there if we had a chance - remote place which can be reached by a bumpy secluded road by 4x4. Though tourists come to this beach by boats during the day, it must be very quiet there in the evening..

This is a great workout!!...do NOT expect a leisurely stroll on a trail, rather, it is a full-on rigorous hike up and hike down. It is HOT and humid so bring tons of water and wear good, stable shoes with good treads!! Wear bug spray and go early enough that the sun isn't setting during the return leg of your hike.

It took us an hour & 15 min to hike there, and an hour to hike back....we also stopped once we made it to Bottle Beach for a swim, a break and a small meal. The beach is actually named due to the water bottles that mark the trail along the way.

To get to the start of the trail, continue past Coconut Beach Bungalows at Haad Khom and park at the small parking area at the very end of the paved road. Walk down the hill continuing on the dirt road.... about 40 meters, give or take, and on the right of the road there is a small path starting up the hill. There is no sign or marker to signify the trail....just a small path....start climbing and you will start to see plastic water bottles stuck on the trees marking the way!!
(Do not go by the Thai wooden sign at the parking lot....that is not the trail!)

Once at Bottle Beach, you'll love it. Beautiful beach...long and sandy, not too many people, and the Bottle Beach resort has a great restaurant with friendly staff, good food, and cold waters and beers!!! Be sure to refill with waters for the hike back and put on more bug spray.

Also we're pretty sure if you don't want to do the hike in the reverse direction, there'll be a long tail that would be willing to take you back.

Be sure to stop and look around when you take water breaks on your hike as there are some great views to be had. You'll also feel like you've sweat out about 2kg of water weight by the end of the day, so have fun and enjoy the workout!!!
