After the full moon party, we made our way up to bottle beach. it was the best decision we made. its secluded, relaxing, cheap, beautiful and the staff are amazing. they threw on a banquet for one of the guests birthdays which we were all invited to, fireworks and lanterns. GO THERE NOW

It is really a truly magnificient beach, one of the best that I have ever been to. It is perfect to visit for a day or there is also possibiites to stay in some of the hotels (however I have not done so).

This beach is one of a kind, I have never seen anywhere nearly as beautiful as this beach, if you can, you need to visit it! The clear water, the white sand, and the great staff at the resorts make it worthwhile! My favourite place in Thailand so far!

The only downside would be the difficult journey to get to it, but it's still worth it!

it took me two hours to go there from Had kom... the track is quite difficult and dangerous at times (you can follow the plastic bottles but they are not everywhere!) so... allow yourself a lot of time and water... but when you arrive there you have a great beach and great water waiting for you... and to come back you can take any boat for 150 baht - until 18;00 mind.....

I stayed about 1km from the beach and visited Bottle Beach 3 times. While staying on the island, I visited most of the beaches on the island as I hired a 4x4 Suzuki (900baht per day). The drive down to the beach is a little hairy as the road is a dirt track but in all honesty, after the first time, you get used to the drive and it is not that bad. I wouldn't recommend a scooter going down there and if you are without a jeep take a taxi or water taxi.
The beach, its phenomenal. You have lush green mountains all around and only a few people to share the beach with. Its one of the few really inviting beaches on the island, other places have litter or coarse sand in abundance, this beach has soft white sand and the water is aquamarine and very clear. Simply put, its beautiful.
I think some of the other reviews may be clouded as its difficult to reach, but if it was easy to get to, you would have a crowded beach, resorts aplenty and it would lose its appeal. There was some minor construction going on around the beach and I can image in 5 years time, it wont be the secluded bit of paradise it is today.
