Stayed for 3 days and I didn't even feel like going out of the resort. The resort itself is utterly beautiful and serene that you feel you have to do justice by exploring around. Being in the beach and the pool overlooking such magnificent view, drains all your stress away.

Room Tip: Any room overlooking the pool or the beach is splendid!

Firstly we spent hours debating which hotel to stay at in the area and which was best value for money and we made the best choice the hotel is beautiful as are the rooms even most standard rooms have large sun terraces and are plenty big enough for two for 9 days. The staff and service are 1st class nothing is too much trouble we had a cottage high on the hill for part of our stay and the tuktuk picked us up and dropped us off whenever we asked to save my lazy legs. Zahid at reception was brilliant he took care of all our trips and travel arrangements is mega friendly and a selling point for the hotel as his english spking is one of the best at resort although all try there is a slight barrier sometimes. Breakfast is a good fresh eggs cooked to your liking. The beach restaurant also very good and offers lovely BBQ selection although a minute walk down the beach the buri rasa beach club restaurant is also equally as good and a further 5 minutes walk your at the village lune I particular is excellent place to eat. Overall a fantastic trip. However I'd say anantara is next door and at least double the price for rooms drinks and food and the quality is not much different

Room Tip: Cottages are beautiful and private

Originally, we were going to stay on the other side of the island but were told that the east side is much better so we found the panviman. What a perfect place! The service was incredible and so was the breakfast. Many thanks to Siwaporn who made our stay so great and helped us with everything! I highly recommend splurging on the deluxe room because the view was incredible. We enjoyed literally every aspect of our stay.

Due to its location, it was very difficult to get to and I recommend taking the hotel's 300 baht/ person transfer from the pier. We ended up calling them in desperation asking for a ride when we arrived because no taxi would take us. The drivers were so great when we left as well and when we had a much later boat than the other couple in our 9:30 transfer, he waited for us and made sure we got on the right one.

I wouldn't recommend renting the motorbikes, it was a pretty scary experience and they're not in the greatest condition. If you pick this side of the island, I would stick to it. The village has two great restaurants: Luna and Mango and the Anantara hotel bar has two great happy hours on the beach. I can't speak for most of the other restaurants but we had a great time at those places.

Also, if you are into diving- tropical dive club is the best and pretty inexpensive. It's a small hut down the beach and Gert was awesome. We don't recommend H2O, they were very flaky and cancelled on us.

I cannot wait to go back to this hotel and cannot thank them enough for the perfect stay!

Room Tip: Splurge on the deluxe- the view is amazing and definitely worth a few extra dollars.

We loved every minute of our stay. On arrival we discovered we had been upgraded and our room was stunning - the best we have ever stayed in - very large and with a sea view, floor to ceiling windows and a private terrace. The pool is incredibly well designed. It is very large and is formed of a series of small pools cut into the hillside which flow into one another and one much larger pool. Unlike other Thai hotels we have stayed in, the natural vegetation is celebrated and the landscaping is very pretty without being manicured. The only thing we would change is the restaurant menu, which is boring and doesn't contain any Thai food. But the food itself was very good. Particularly breakfast which was excellent!

Panviman sits beautifully between Thong Nai Pan Yai and Thong Nai Pan Noi… one you can see from the gorgeous multilevel pool and the other you can access from the resort… making this an ideal location. It's also close to good restaurants like Luna Lounge and a quaint little Mexican joint just down the road (can't remember the name), with delicious Coconut Margaritas and hammocks to sip them from.

The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, the staff very friendly. The included breakfast is a large buffet, but the food is just average, in my opinion.

There are waterfalls, small plunge pools and a large pool all overlooking the ocean with gorgeous bay views that give Panviman a very luxurious, relaxing feel.

Stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend and 3 friends. Staff are all amazing, so friendly and cant do enough for you! Infinity pool was beautiful and the pool restaurant had a lovely view, perfect for some lunch which was delicious aswell. we had two of the private rooms on stilts that overlook the sea, they were brilliant spacious and comfy and the ensuite was perfect too, having a bath while looking out to the ocean was very relaxing! We got the hotels speedboat over to the full moon party and back and had an amazing stay at panviman it feels so luxurious and paradise like! Thanks to stefano and all the other staff who made our stay so good!

Excellent service, very friendly people. Loved the place - will return!

Breakfast was good! Very nice swimming pool.. Very flexible in terms of service. Awesome!

The nearest beach is pleasant and the one next to it is more recommended due to the soft sand. We did jet ski and it was worth the money.
