The hospitality couldn't have been better! The best breakfast was also unbelievable. The resort is on the other side of the island where the party is held at.... which means the beach on this side was clean & peaceful. A 20min ferry takes you to the other side of the island for the Full Moon Party - our hotel had a dinner + ferry package which we purchased & thought was great. There are plenty of places to eat along the beach. I would go back & do the same trip all over again.

Statyed here for a few days in the Christmas of 2009.

We were met at the pier by the Hotel staff who provided cooling towels and water.

The Panviman was located near a small beach village located in the hills....... with local shops, restaurants and internet cafes. I wouldnt stay here if with the intention of going to the full moon party as it is same way from the Haad Rin party area. I understand that they do have a speedboat package so ask about that!

Room- We had a massive cottage overlooking the beach and sea, with 3 sides of the walls being glass to ceiling windows with magnificent views on all 3 sides, even the bathroom had spectaucular views.
We had our own private terrace with 2 sun loungers and a twin bathtub/shower over looking the ocean. Great for cooling down in the heat! In the room there was a Fridge, safe, table and dresser and cubboard space. Overall bery spacious and nicely decorated

Facilities-The pool was large with 3 ajoining ones leading down to the main pool, with an infinity pool. There isnt a Gym. Breakfast was served in the resort's restaurant and had a good variety which changed daily. Pancake/omellete station and your usual thai breakfast.

Service-The service was great, with helpful staff upon checkin, they even upgraded our room free of charge. Every employee was polite & hospitable and really made you feel welcome and you were not a hindrance.

You to pay for wifi access. Overall the cottages were beautiful and with fantastic views. A couple that isnt interested in partying would love this place as it has a nice secluded feel to it with a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Service was excellent and staff gave just the right amount of attention of feel special but not over the top. The rooms were amazing, with fab views and were very clean. Location was great, 2 beaches with some watersports and shops bars etc. Very steep pathways to pool from room but ok for the fit and able. Shuttle to and from beach are a must. Some of our party enjoyed the 'full moon party' on the other side of the island (45 mins) so far enough away to still relax and feel safe but close enough to get transport. Definately worth a stay, loved every minute.

We stayed here for 6 nights in June 2008 to kick off our honeymoon travelling around Thailand.

The hotel is beautiful and the customer service is outstanding, as you would expect in Thailand. We went during low season so it was a little quiet but a very peaceful and calming place to relax.

The swimming pool is fantastic and very clean and the bar staff attend to your every need. I would highly recommend a trip to the spa, the massage was wonderful!

Overall a good place to stay, if you're into 5000B hotels (Ra sa nan da on the beach seems much more comfortable but also much more expensive).
Good points : staff is doing their absolute best to please you. Rooms are big, well equiped, lots of storage, very clean, pool is nice. Breakfast is pretty decent. They offer transfer to the other beach, the village and to Thong Sala, which is very practical.
Bad points : steep walk to and from the beach, which wasn't all that great (the 'Yai' beach was much more quiter and nicer, but I understand it depends on the weather conditions). No mosquito net, even though they put spray because of the dengue fever (doors don't close completely so we put the air-con). Restaurant is pretty expensive (compared to Thai standards), and the food's not that great (then again, it's quite hard to find good food on the beach).

We knew already the fabulous Panviman resort from Chiang Mai but this one is even better ! You just only know that it is not right on the beach but with stunning views from Hillside ! Pool, beach access, restaurant are just amazing ! We stayed in Deluxe Cottage with bath outside on the terrace, it was just so great !
All bungalows are built on the hill with a nature spirit to respect the natural environment.
