The best resort in ko pha ngan in my opinion, real family atmosphere , great food great pool clean and super friendly resort, there isn't anything the staff won't do for you but I loved how they don't bother you and just let you to relax and enjoy your holiday, also on the west side of the island so you get beautiful sunsets

This was a nice resort to stay in and good value for the money. The rooms are clean and the outdoor bathrooms are nice. Also, the pool is great for relaxing. The only problem with the resort is if you want to be around a variety of restaurants there are only a few near the resort and haad rin is 40 minutes and 20 dollars away. Because the food in the resort is not good at all this was a problem for me. I ended up staying 3 nights though, so if you want to relax I'd recommend this place.

A really beautiful place, in room facilities aren't the best (no shower gel or kettle) but you won't spend any time in your room! There is plenty of extras around the hotel, masks, bat and balls water pistols etc which are free to use as u wish. The staff are easily the nicest people we came into contact with on the island very helpful and accommodating.. Would definitely recommend!

Recently had five days here in one of the beach front bungalows. Rooms were basic but very comfortable and clean with a indoor and out door shower and wooden bath tub!
You'll struggle to get a better view from a infinity pool than this with the sun setting into the sea every evening.
The staff were wonderful and so kind and always so cheerful! We only had the breakfast at the Cove and that was superb but Benjamin's Hut next door has some of the best spring rolls we've had on our trip!
Word of warning the bugs come out in force at night, but was probably a lot to do with the time of year so plenty of spray is recommended.

We spent two nights at sunset cove and did not want to leave at all. The place is so relaxing with the palmtrees, the pool and the beach you'll never want to leave it.

The hotel is a Thai family run business and they are incredibly friendly people.

The cheapest rooms are quite basic so we asked to be upgraded to one of the Deluxe rooms and it was no problem (low season and no upcoming moon party). The Deluxe rooms are very comfortable with a hot shower outside. Don't expect a fancy resort, go to another beach for that, but expect a very sincere and friendly place to stay at.

The sunsets over Chao Phao beach are just the best. Sit back, have a nice dinner and enjoy the moment.

One of the best places we've stayed at in Thailand!

I have to admit my heart sank a little when I saw our room. We had booked room A4, which was a Sea View Cottage. The room was very tired, and looks as though it has never been refurbished since it was built. It was also very dark. As we were booked in at peak season and the whole of Koh Phangan was pretty much booked up for the New Years Eve party, we decide to stay and make the best of it.........and we had a great time! We threw back the curtains, let loads of light in and it seemed so much better!

The staff were so welcoming, the pool was gorgeous, breakfast was lovely. The bed was comfortable, and clean.

There were a lot of mosquitos around, but this was typical of all the places we stayed on this trip, not just this hotel. I showered in the big wooden tub though after getting bitten using the outdoor shower (which really does need a refurb!)

The staff were helpful with organising a scooter, advising where to eat, get a massage, and booking us onto their trip to the full moon party to watch the New Years fireworks.

We stayed the full 5 nights that we booked and loved our time here, despite the room looking a lot older than the website suggests.

If they refurbished the rooms, it would be a fantastic, relaxing place to stay.

Room Tip: I wouldn't pick a sea view cottage again as once you open your curtains, you have no privacy. A...

We stayed in one of the budget bungalows near the road for 1000thb per night for 5 nights plus free breakfast, fridge, tv and dvd player, air con and safety deposit box. We were informed on our arrival that the rooms are cleaned every other day, but if this was a problem just say and someone will clean it. The resort has a restaurant on the beach and the pool hits the beach front so is a wonderful place for sunset worshippers, as the resort name would suggest. I was at first dubious about the bathroom which has a foot high gap between the walls and the roof covered up with plastic mesh - but this turned out to be fine and was not the insect trap I feared it would be at all! The rooms are clean and spacious. This place is all about the little things that make your stay just that little bit more enjoyable: free bananas and biscuits, free rental of dvds and snorkelling kits, plenty of books to borrow. The only bad things I would say are; 1. the cheap bungalows by the road are quite noisy; I wore ear plugs most nights; 2. the curtains are very light so dawn generally woke me up and I needed to wear an eyemask; 3. I ate the worst pad thai I have ever tasted at this restaurant. Other than that we had a fantastic stay, the staff are very friendly, the free breakfasts are amazing with a huge choice of things to eat, the beach is cleaned up daily and is as beautiful as every other beach on Koh Phangan, and the eternity pool is wonderful. Great place!

Room Tip: The rooms nearer the pool/beach are the best.
