“Nice beach,too many resorts”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 via mobile

Beautiful beach but would be so much nicer without the resorts in my opinion..we stayed in basic bungalows at the north end (last ones) with the best view along the whole beach for 500thb.bit pricey for the room but the view was worth it.the shops closest to the beach are double the normal price!! Walk out the road from the north end of the beach take the 1st right on main road there is a local store with normal prices only 100m further to walk!

“Beautiful unique quiet beach”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

Stayed at salad beach for a week as wanted to enjoy some well deserved chill time and this was just the trick. The sunsets at this beach where amazing, it's quiet and full of people just chilling and reading having there own relaxed time. Tip snorkelling is better in the morning as the water is clearer but is shallow however you can see more fish in the coral. Many restaurants along the beach are ok and cheap enough however for quality food go away from the beach up the main road to jay jays. Excellent pizzas burgers pastas and Thai food ( we ate here 3 times) friendly staff too.All in all a very relaxing stay here for those who want a quiet life away from haad rin.

“Our favorite ”
Reviewed 18 August 2014 via mobile

We've been to many beaches around phangan today and this small gem was our favorite.

The beach itself is rather a small one compared to others, but the water is turquoise and very clear. The reef is just about 100m off the shore and quite a beauty! The resort straight at the beach seems pretty nice and has some good quality food!

“Super Family Bay”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

Great place to bring a family. Lots of great hotels and bungalows. Very pretty. The water level can be low in Summer (July and August) so bring water shoes. There are sandy entries to the beach but to get the best of the fish and snorkelling fetch your shoes.

“Lovely resort”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

The resort was on the beach. We had a sea view bungalow and it was perfect, you could hear the waves break at night. The bungalows are basic but there is a fridge and they were clean. It is a bit out of the way so no night life which we loved. Not really a swimming beach it is low tide for most of the morning. This is a problem as you cannot really swim at low tide. Would recommend it for 4 days no more.
