We paid 1700THB per night to stay in the most basic air conditioned room in the resort with an extra bed for the third person in our group. The extra bed was a fold out camping bed with the thinnest mattress I've ever seen. Very uncomfortable, so we rotated between us each night. The room was dirty with marks all over the walls and dangerous cracks in the tile floor.

The good points were that the room was cleaned every day and the location was great if you want to party! But for the price of the room, I am sure you can get somewhere better for a cheaper price - or definitely upgrade to one of the nicer rooms around the pool !

We had 3 superior rooms for 4 nights, the rooms were immaculate, air con was great and the duvets were brilliant. The bathrooms were also brilliant. We had decided to treat ourselves and so glad we did. Close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Breakfast included was average. There was no wifi in rooms however, only at reception. the pool was nice, but sun only until 3 o clock. Rooms were cleaned everyday, tv was good and balcony was also nice.

We didn't have accommodation booked when we arrived on the island, so a travel agent took us to look at this hotel (the cheap rooms at the back), and it was disgusting. We didn't want to walk about in the heat anymore looking for anywhere else so we stayed in the more expensive rooms that you can see in the main photo. It was about £50 a night which is extremely over our budget. We stayed one night and the rooms were lovely and the location was ideal. We left the next day to look for a cheaper room else where, but I have to say that the rooms in this part of the hotel were lovely and very modern.

We arrived at Phi Phi with no accommodation booked but luckily as soon as you get off the boat there are plenty of stalls ready to sell you places to stay, tours ect. We found a lovely lady to help us who showed us a few different places to stay, we gave her our budget of 2000bhat per night and she recommended Anita's ...a pool, air conditioned bungalow, near the beach. We booked for 1night as didn plan to stay on phi phi longer. A very helpful bloke came from the hotel to carry our bags from the pier to the hotel for us, we were checked in by the lovely lady on reception who advised us where breakfast was served ,what time and the wifi password, then taken to our bungalow. It was right by the pool,a tidy size, clean, air con, towels, hot water,a fridge and even a tv. We soon discovered wifi only worked at reception, but weren't too bothered as everything else was to a good standard. It is very noisy at night as its near all the nightlife of Phi Phi but we even dealt with that. The plan was to stay one night but we liked it so agreed to stay another night in order to do a day trip on the island. Again reception were very helpful in booking us in for another night in the same room,I was advised housekeeping would also clean the room for us that day. On the day we checked out we did before we left for our day trip l,around 8.30am, a room check was carried out (as standard) and to our shock a white towel was brought from the room as it had been 'damaged' , the staff just stared at us whilst holding this towel in the air. The towel actually had some make up on there from me removing my make up the night before and also I had cut my leg whilst shaving so spots of blood...not damaged, dirty. The 'helpful' receptionist then demanded 500bhat for the damaged towel! (Suddenly her English wasn't too good either) finally agreed that they should wash the towel,as you would expect them to do anyway, and we would return after our day trip o collect our luggage. We returned 4hrs later to discover they hadn't tried to wash the towel just hand scrub it, apparently washing is sent to Phuket and not returned for 2days ? Receptionist was horrible, even threatened to get police,we were made to feel like criminals. Ended up paying the 500bhat just to get out of there. Horrible staff and its a shame. They ruined my Phi Phi experience.
And there are cheaper places just as nice to stay on beach,do some research before settling for Anita's.

Possibly the unfriendliest place we've ever been to in Asia. The place is run by gangsters so doesn't surprise us about all the bad reviews on their customer service. One night, two females from our group came back after a night out and were threatened to be beaten up (the male security guard had one girl in his hands going to punch her, the other girl managed to get her free and he then pushed the other girl against a wall. Such a shame as this place has a nice pool, but any group of girls looking to stay here, just be careful. There are much nicer places on the island for cheaper prices anyway.

Phi Phi Anita is not only affordable, but they recently developed the whole place so everything is nice and new! Unfortunately, we moved in when the pool was still being installed... I bet it will be amazing once its done! The rooms were around $80 per person per night. You get your standard hotel room, clean bed sheets, amazing bathroom and proximity to the beach. The only negative I can say about the room is the lack of power outlets! Its difficult when you have to charge two phones and two cameras! As for the location, it's right next to the beach where everyone parties til 6am! If you've been to phi phi, you'll know that the locals start charging 10baht per toilet visit and they ration you out toilet paper (YUK). If you stay at Anita, it's just a 2 minute walk back to the hotel!

Love this place!!!

Room Tip: Don't stay here if you're up for a quiet night... it stays noisy until about 5/6am. I also r...

I don't like writing negative reviews, and I can't really write a review of the accomodation at Anitas because they gave our room away.

I wanted to highlight what happened to us to ensure it doesn't happen to anyone else.

We booked and paid for the accomodation through Agoda, got to the resort and were met by a rude member of staff who simply passed us a phone - we think the owner was on the other end of the line, to be told we did not have a room after all. They had given it to someone else.

We aked for our money back and were told to wait 2 minutes and they would come along and refund us. After some time it became apparent that no one was coming. We then asked for a written note so that we could prove to Agoda that the booking had not been honoured. Again told to wait to 2 minutes, again no one showed up. After quite some time (and frantic searching for an alternative on our phones with no help from the staff at Anitas) we left.

At no point were we even given an apology. The girl on reception was incredibly rude.

So please, if you have a booking at Anitas - it might be worth phoning or emailing in advance of turning up to ensure that you will be able to stay there. Particularly as alternative accomodation was hard to find.
