Stayed 1 night in Room 305 double A/C room.

I didn't really like the location, it's kinda hidden (even though it doesn't matter in Phi Phi, it's all walkable) but it doesn't matter because they have beautiful quiet rooms with free wifi.

Wifi was so-so. I find most places we've been to in Thailand the beds are hard but sleep-able. Shower is cold in our room. Not sure if it's normal but we didn't mind. It was great to see it had a wall and curb to keep the water away from the toilet.

They had a lot of racks and desk/shelf surface to place your junk everywhere haha. Nice and big surfaces. There's a waredrobe and a safe.

Aircon was super good. Balcony there isn't really a view. You have to take off your shoes in PP Insula Hotel.

Overall, we had a comfortable stay and no complaints :-)

This guesthouse is a gem - the rooms are clean, have everything you need, and are comfortable. The location is great, it manages to be in the heart of the town without being near any of the noisy bars. No breakfast provided, but this doesn't matter at all, you only have to walk out the door to find a variety of cafes, markets and street food. My suggestion if you want a nice beach to swim at, make the half hour walk to long beach, it's well worth it, much quieter and cleaner than the beaches near the main village.

The hotel was nicely decorated, clean and quiet - we didn't hear a single other person in the 2 nights we were there even though the hotel was full! The location was great: just a few minutes from the harbour and the beach, and right by plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel doesn't have much in the way of facilities, but there's a good food place a few doors down that seems to have the only Thai breakfast on the island!

Just a short 3 minutes walk from the pier, we turned up at PP Insula during low season in May without reservation. At first sight of PP Insula lobby, this place would probably not be anyone’s choice of accommodation. I’m personally taken aback by their reception desk and the overall ambience in the lobby (it wasn't modern nor stylish). But after checking out their rooms, it’s nothing like what you see at the main entrance. The rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for a quiet and safe place to stay in Phi Phi Island, this place would be a good choice. It is situated in front of the local food market, 3 minutes walk to the pier, 5 minutes walk to the beach and just few more minutes walk away from the pubs.

They are also very strict about bringing outsiders back to the hotel and very particular about safety and noises at night, so this place is definitely recommended for people who wants peace and quiet at night.

Phi Phi Island is a bit more expensive than the mainland and accommodation is even more so, this hotel near the pier offers what a budget conscience traveler want, cleanliness, good price and a secure place to store your items of value.
The owner of this hotel have gone to great extend to ensure a quiet and safe atmosphere in the hotel, you even have to take your shoes off before going to your room. The security is tight, with key cards for the main door which they lock at seven in the evening and no guests is allowed.
The rooms are basic, with a fridge stocked with water, TV, air conditioning, shower, WiFi and a safe.
The location of the hotel is also very good, since it is only about 160 meter from the main pier.
If you want to stay here, book in advance since the hotel was almost always full with no rooms available.
I will stay at the PP Insula hotel again when I visit Phi Phi.

Room Tip: All the rooms is more or less the same, but there is an important aspect, basically there are two types of rooms available, one with a view and one without. Those with a view face the street vendors and sometimes when you open the balcony door there is an overwhelming BBQ smell. I would personally opt for the rooms without a view, its very quiet and cool. After all you only want a room to sleep in when visiting Phi Phi, for the view you go to the beach.
