“Near to the beach”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

This hotel is near to beach for good price (800bth/2 person). Negative is that cleaner stuff is not cleaning rooms every day. Wifi is not working all day. But hotel is in good place and if you want you can book some trips here too.

We looked around and were quite pleased with the prices, there was one 800THB and a few 700TBH rooms. The 800THB rooms were more spacious and had a nice view, whereas the 700THB rooms were a bit cramped and had a view of a wall. Prices were for two people, so it worked out quite cheaply. We stayed for three nights, the first night we got the cheaper room and our friends got the more expensive room. On our second night we moved into the other bigger room when it became available. It started off fine, except for when we turned on the air conditioning and it filled our room with the smell of raw sewerage. We let the manager know, at first he said that it was our clothes that was the reason for the smell as the air con unit was supposedly new. He came up to our room armed with air freshener and sprayed the unit, and then sprayed my friends bag as well, which made her bag and belongings smell like gross air freshener and was really annoying. It didn't really help either because our room still smelt gross; the remnants of sewerage mixed with cheap air freshener. We moved to the 800THB room which was great. No problems with that room. Upon leaving, we went to get our 500TBH room-key bond back and checkout, and they accused our friends of breaking their toilet seat (which was broken before they got there). The cleaner blatantly lied, saying that they broke it and she saw it the day before, which is hardly true because she had done a bad job of actually cleaning their room and hadn't set foot in their bathroom because she hadn't replaced the toilet paper or actually cleaned in there. In the end it was all settled but it put a bit of a damper on our stay there.

Room Tip: Get the 800TBH rooms, they're more spacious and have nice views. Beware of gross air con units a...

This place was a good stay, but the pillows are really thick and gave me a sore neck in the morning. The 800thb rooms were pretty big but the 700thb were quite small and the view was of a wall. Our room was good but the cleaner didn't clean our room properly and left melted ice cream in our fridge from the last guests and didn't sweep the floor or replace toilet paper. But that's not the worst thing about the cleaner!! She accused me of breaking the toilet seat in the room and was pointing at me saying that i broke it! she was lying to my face and to her bosses just trying to cover her own tracks! i bet she broke it! i was afraid they would try and make us pay but luckily they didn't. The reception woman was really lovely and nice and she made our stay very pleasant.

Room Tip: get the 800thb rooms they are much nicer than the 700thb rooms.

This is a great hotel if you're seeking a budget friendly accomodation.
It provided the basic necessities that I needed. 2 minutes from the pier, opposite a nice dive shop, next door from 'Le Grand Bleu' restaurant, and next to 7/11.

Smack-bang right in the centre so you can't go wrong!

We stayed at Natacha in March 2014 for 4 nights. it's a clean and quiet place to sleep if you are on budget, there is short distance to pier (3 minutes) and short distance to shore (5 minutes)

Our room was quite small for three persons. You have to request for cleaning the room before 11 am, but we liked to sleep till 11 because we were going to beach clubs and bars until midnight. There was no hair dryer nor electric kettle in the room. the check-out time was early in my opinion (11 AM). the view of balcony was blocked with a bunch of electric cables.

This hotel is located about a 2 minute walk from the pier - no dragging suitcases across the island! The hotel is basic, no pool and no breakfast but is good value for money compared to a lot of other accommodation options on the island. The airconditioning worked perfectly during our stay, there was also a fridge in the room and it was cleaned daily. The wifi was a bit temperamental during the time we were there but worked more often then not. There was also a tv in the room which had some good english channels (we had some rainy days while on the island!). Overall a great find and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend to friends.

The hotel is close to the pier and very central as well, in the main shopping road. The rooms with balcony are spacious and lightful, however we had also some rooms claustrofobic and small with a window closed and facing a wall. So demand a room with balcony/window. The room was clean,
