Nice pool that's about it.

2.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 2 Dec 2012via mobile
Expensive for what you get. Rooms are ok but no WiFi could do with a better clean tho hairs all over the floor.

Took ages to check in about an hour as we had to wait for our room to be cleaned but the thing is it wasn't even busy.

Breakfast was mediocre, but the best thing was the pool. Great views over the beach and the mountains. If your not a resident of the hotel you can pay 200bht to use it. So it can get busy.

Overall ok place to stay but I wouldn't go back. Just go.back for the pool.

Where do I begin? Let's see...
1. No hot water. No phones to call to reception. No one from the staff cares if you tell them.

2. No closet in the room. We had to live from our luggage, like some broke backpackers.

3. A Rooster. I kid you not. There's a pen right in the middle of the hotel with a live rooster!! Every night it's Cookoo!! Cookoo!!

4. No TV. I just wanted to relax after a long day of diving and dining, but the TV had other plans... Again, the staff could'nt care less.

5. Price - 3,000b a night. Way too much for a dump like this.

Dont let the nice pool fool you! Save yourselves!

I stayed here in July 2012. The hotel was booked out when we arrived there were a few rooms left in the Charlie part. there are only a few rooms at the pool, theses are the rooms most people see in the pictures and this is what we expected or similar, when we arrived, unfortunitly we did not get these lovely rooms. we paid a tenner a night which ins't bad especially for this island which is dear compared to Bangkok and the other islands. but i did not like the room at all. it was dirty and there was sand in the beds, (this was there before we were in bed) there had marks on the wall and small holes. the bathroom was basic but there was grime growing on the mirror and shower.

Other than the appearance of the room the hotel is in a handy spot on the island and its 2 minute walk from the main beach bars. the staff were friendly and would allow you to book the room again (even on day of leave) if its not booked.

The pool ....the sunbeds had black marks on them like mould or something and the same with the towels, if no one at the pool is ordering drinks the bar men will threaten to turn off the music and if no one does they do actually turn it off.

if you do want to stay in one of the nice rooms I suggest you book it early and save some money for it as we did see these rooms and they were really nice.

This place is definitely not for families when we stayed here it was all people travelling and partying.

Room tip: if you do want to stay in one of the nice rooms I suggest you book it early and save some money for it as we did see these rooms and they were really nice.

This is the best location and views you can find in Phi Phi Don, but you need to get the right rooms. The ones in front of the swimming pool are the best. The best room is SS2, it is the larger one of the 5 in front of the pool and the one right in the middle. It has the largest balcony and as you open your sliding doors you are treated with an amazing view of the infinity pool and the gulf as its background. The only downside is that the swimming pool has a swim-up bar with quite loud music, but it you are in a party mood it is fine. We were a couple with a baby and it did not bother us much. Buffet breakfast is included and it is reasonably good. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is straigh on the beach, just 5 meters from the water

Room tip: Choose Room SS-2

Me and two friends stayed three nights in the p p princess hotel! We hadn't booked on arrival yet the women at reception still managed to sort us a room in the main building! What was a room just for two we squeezed all three of us in with a mattress on the floor, which doesn't sound very great but because of how impressed we were with the room we didn't care! This hotel made our stay in pi pi! It was spotlessly clean and tidy and the stocked mini bar proved prefect for midnight munchies! Fresh towels everyday really pleased us and the rules of the pool meant that they provided our beach towels which was one less thing to worry about! Located right on the beach it is perfect for all of those who want sun sea and party but a good night sleep! We had no problems with any of the staff and would go back again and again! We will remember our stay in phi phi for a long time!

I loved this place - I was in Thailand for 3 months, travelling from Bangkok down to the islands and then island hoping.
The pool here is seriously to die for, and the little huts look like something from Robinson Crusoe! I loved every minute of it, my only regret is that I didn't get there sooner, so I could have stayed longer.

Room tip: Stay in the new bamboo bungalows - they are gorgeous, you get free entry to the pool, and breakfast is included. Win win! :)
