Centerpoint is actually quite nicely located on the island, near the beach and a few bars but quiet enough (I thought) to sleep around midnight. The hostel itself was pretty basic - intermittent WiFi that doesn't work in rooms as advertised, and you need your own lock for the lockers in the lobby. Sheets were provided for beds which were suitably comfy, though there isn't an electric socket for each bed which caused a few minor problems.
I stayed in the 6 bed ensuite and so didn't have a problem with lack of toilets but there was only one toilet in the lobby which everyone else seemed to have to use. Staff were nice, booked tours and onward travel no problem, and they have a 60 baht laundry service too, which is a bonus. The hostel was also kept clean regularly, and had a night time security guard which I thought was very sensible.
All in all I'd recommend if you're a budget traveller to Phi Phi. I met other travellers and it served me well for 3 nights.
