Unfortunetely, this hotel was not up to scratch. Although, the rooms were comfortable and large size, it was noisy from 7am onwards as they are renovating their rooms.
They changed our room 3 times as we were told that they had prior bookings which was ridicilous. We paid a lot more than other people on theisland for this accommodation but did not get a good service.
Staff were not helpful, I asked for Ipad charger and I was told that I did not allow to borrow the charger into my room. The breakftast was poor, breakfast room was untidy, messy and unclean. One morning member of staff started cutting her nails in the middle of the breakfast room, when I challlenged her she said it'ok I will clean it afterwards.
Overall, very poor service, not clean and unfriendly place.

Checked in, staff a bit slow, and you're hot after boat over you just want to get to room! Villas are spacious but basic, shower in room is rubbish and has wrong wiring! Air con was noisy and dripped all night! If you go for a luxury delux they're just same but with sea view ish! The restaurant on beach in front of hotel has loud music until 12.30am so if you like an early night get a villa further back. I came to phi phi 5 yrs ago and although it is still very beautiful the land is being built up rapidly and there is a lot of rubbish and building rubble around, kind of spoils the effect! I stayed in phi phi cabana hotel last time and it was superb, wish I'd chosen it this year!

We just finished a 4 night stay at Phi Phi Villa Resort and I was underwhelmed. We stayed in a beach view suite and for the money it wasn't worth it. The air conditioning was noisy, there's only hot water in the shower and the bathroom was very dated. The rooms are darker than the photos on their website.

The room was quite close to the local bar/restaurant so it was a little noisy at night time and a public path runs in front of the room to the next hotel.

I think for the money you could find a nicer place and if you're after a quiet retreat this part of the island is probably not the best spot and it would be worth your while to research further hotels from the main stretch.

Me and my friends satayed here for a couple of nights. It is located just 10 minutes walk from tongsai pier. Five of us stayed at a family bungalow (2 double beds and 1 extra bed) right in front of the beach. The pool is very nice too. Breakfast is included and the selection is quite good. However, if you are looking for a honey moon place in Phi Phi i would advice you to look further from the pier. Just a few minutes furhter is long beach, which is beautiful. Phi Phi Villa Resort might get noisy in peak season, but we were there in october and rested just fine.

We visited Phi Phi in Aug ’13 and spent 2 nights in Phi Phi - the 2nd one we spent here in Phi Phi Villa resort. The hotel is a 20 min walk from the pier and a painful one if the hotel does not send over a bell boy to get your luggage.

In spite of being touch with the reception on phone, and waiting at the pier for about 30 minutes, the bell boy was unable to locate us. On requesting again for a luggage pick-up, we were asked to wait for another hour at the pier which we refused and decided to walk to the resort tugging our luggage ourselves. The hotel staff turned out to be extremely rude - they blamed us for not waiting for an hour at the pier for the bell boy instead of offering a welcome or even some water! They have fixed timings for providing services to guests and so guests are expected to adjust to the rule of the hotel so to speak. One of the staff members at the hotel reception went to the extent of refusing to talk to us as we were unhappy about being made to wait to get a room (we had made the reservation online, and had mentioned that we were a honeymoon couple, they wanted us to wait for another hour at the reception to ready our room even though we reached in the afternoon!) and made personal remarks in Thai while his peers chuckled like teenagers. Would definitely not recommend this resort to anyone.

The hotel is located at the beach though it has very few beach view rooms. The rooms were okay but the bathrooms were quite a let down - quite small with a tiny hot shower.

Room Tip: Wouldn't recommend a stay here at all!

My sister and I stayed here in September and spent 2 nights here after looking for somewhere close to Tonsai village . After staying on Long beach for a few nights we felt we needed some civilisation so we stayed here! The location is great as you are close to the action but it's not too noisy. Our room was clean and spacious and brightly decorated. The swimming pool was great- kept clean and very relaxing. The breakfast buffet had a great selection each morning and it was definitely the best breakfast we had in Thailand.
