Phi Phi Andaman Beach Resort
Ranked #22 of 38 Hotels in Ko Phi Phi Don

I always stay here when visiting Phi Phi. Rooms are great and the price is good for Phi Phi. I got horribly sick from the Western breakfast they dish up though so give that a miss, it's pretty bad anyway. Definitely a good choice hotel though, I'd stay there whenever I'm on the island.

Room Tip: Make sure you stay in one of the new rooms

I payed more for three nights here than I had for a week in all the other Thsi five star resorts. This hotel is overpriced, but is well located. The first room they put us in for £120 a night had dirty sheets, torn towels, very scuffed walls, dirty fridge, nO shower and a door that barely locked. Air conditioning very noisy and inaffective. After a lengthy complaint we were upgraded to the new deluxe rooms which were superb, but for this price should have been offered on night 1. Major criticism...,lack of hot water and NO hairdryer in rooms or to borrow.

They know they got a great location just to the andaman sea, so you pay a lot to stay in very bad bungalows. They are old and not at all as in the pictures. I'd rather pay to live in a clean nice place and then walk to the sea than pay to live in these bungalows. It's cheating people. On the good side, their pool is great.

I stayed here with my friend and we both loved it. The people who work at the bungalows are so friendly and helpful which really made us feel at home. We went on a fishing trip with some if the staff whilst we were there which was great - we caught out own fish which they cooked for our evening meal for us. The accommodation is very clean and well kept and the area of the island is really quiet with the local village having a real Thai feel...a much welcome change from some of the busier islands. We enjoyed it so much here that we left to go to phi phi and then decided to go back for our last few days!!

Breakfast needs some improvement. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Stayed hear 3 nights with my daughters the pool is possibly the best on the Island. There is a lot of boat traffic in front of the pool, boats leaving on day tours so it can get very load and packed with tourists around the hotel.

Room Tip: dont stay at the old bungalows there are new ones that I hear are much nicer.

Someone met us at the pier to transport our luggage which was great as its a 10 min walk. Friendly staff welcome you on arrival and show you to your're bungalow. I paid £145 for 4 nights via agoda for a deluxe ac bungalow. We stayed in 108 which is located near the front. The rooms are in need of some work but not too bad. Bathrooms aren't exactly great but not horrible. Satellite tv and a fridge are included which is good because alcohol is not sold on site but you can go to the shop and bring it back.

Breakfast was ok, eggs, cereal, toast, waffle etc or if you fancy noodles and rice you can!

Swimming pool was nice, although busy at times.

No safe in the room but you can rent secure lockers in the reception area. Wife is Not free and not cheap! Although plenty of places offer free wifi and in my room i could pick up the schools wifi!

We took the Luxury bungalow which is the best room this "resort" has to offer, and it looked like a 3 stars average room.
The bed wasn't very stable, the bathroom looks bad (no soap near the sink), the fridge doesn't work when you're not in the room (so you never have cold drink water).
The breakfast was ok, served near the beach which was nice.
That being said, we couldn't find any hotel in Phi phi which looked better (not speaking about the remote resorts on the other side of the island, which require you to take a taxi boat to get to the shops and restaurants area).
