“A very depressing place to be.”
Reviewed 27 January 2014

I stayed here for one day.
The room doesnt look good or clean at all.
The whole place looked and feeled deserted.
The mosque is blowing every couple of hours the speakers out.
The money is not worth and the location is horrible as well.
Staff of the hotel was nice tho.

Room Tip: this on the otherside of the island (the ferry side)

We did a tour through this company to Maya Beach and Bamboo island. It was such a bad tour. We had rice only for lunch. So disorganised. I would recommend using another company. This company does have a big nice boat so you don't get wet but try any other tour. We thought we were doing the best and most expensive tour but it really wasn't. We have done many of these tours all over Thailand that were amazing. This was by far the worst.

After a mistake being made for our original accommodation plans in Phi Phi, we were forced to stay in this horrible resort. Being desperate for accommodation we overpaid- $150 Australian!!!!! As we were told this was the 'only available accommodation on the island' when we arrived. Firstly, our aircon was broken (it was almost 40•C..), then we went to cool off in the shower and there was no water. We called reception twice and personally went to ask before anyone came to fix it. Once it was 'fixed' the water was a disgusting sludgy brown color. We just didn't bother showering that day. We immediately booked into another hotel for the following night as we couldn't bare the thought if spending another moment there!! Upon checking out in the morning we informed the reception staff of the brown water coming out of the taps (and out if the bottom of the toilet all over the bathroom floor!!) and the literally LAUGHED IN OUR FACES and then turned to the next customer completely ignoring us as we continued to speak!! My partner and I are not ones to complain about hotels and services but we are appalled at the treatment we received in the hideously overpriced hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!! we have never had an experience like this traveling and hope no one else has to either!!

On the surface this place is fine to stay if your not used to a 5 star hotel. Fine rooms, nice staff, and great location away from all the craziness!

Only problem was that the room was moldy and my sister got very sick from it. The mold was so bad she got bronchitis and we had to switch hotels after 2 nights. The mold smell was apparent as soon as we walked into the room but had to stay because there were no other rooms available.

It is not healthy for anyone to breathe in mold so do not stay here!!

After reading all the reviews for this hotel online I was apprehensive about our stay, (Seems lots on hotels on Phi Phi have bad reviews). We booked 2 nights and paid about £65 per night for the room. When we arrived a staff member was at the pier to carry our bags the 10 minute walk to the hotel. On arrival we were checked in fast and were taken up to our room, in the apartment block not in a bungalow. We were pleasantly surprised after worrying! The room was clean and the sheets and bedding were fresh. The room smelt like it has just been cleaned. The bathroom was a bit grotty but it was ok for a shower. There was a fridge in the room with 2 complementary bottles of water. The doors didn't have excluders on the bottom of them so we used the towels to block them up at night to make sure no bugs crept in. The breakfast was ok, just a normal basic breakfast. As we are backpacking we didn't have any towels for the beach but the hotel reception let us lend 2 of theirs for our 2 day stay. Overall I would say this hotel is fine for a short sightseeing stay. The pool area was small but ok to have a drink and look out to the view which was beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly and you can use a locker in reception as a safe. I think this hotel could do with a lick of paint in some areas and there are lots of cats about the complex (and the whole island) but it did the job and I wouldn't mind staying here again if I returned to phi phi. The location is great, 15 minute stroll to the main beach and near to the bars/restaurants.

Terrible place to stay. the staff are unfriendly and not very happy i felt like i was not welcome there. 2 extremes in this case beautiful place but the accommodation was shabby and poor quality good for backpacking not cheap enough though.

Very basic. The bathroom was disgusting with stains up the wall, no safe in the room and nothing more than a bed wouldn't recommend more than 1 night.

All round the rooms were basic i would say this is a 2 star and if it was advertised at £20 you wouldn't be so disappointed. Not the kind of place to stay if you want to be romantic.

Did not have our reservation when we got there but they checked us in quickly and without fuss but would have preferred that. If there had been an issue we might have gone elsewhere and actually enjoyed ourselves.
There rooms were terrible. I was not after anything fancy but the beds were like rocks and were made even harder by sitting on raised slabs of concrete. The shower head barely worked and sprayed water everywhere while the drain was a hole in the wall.
The only good thing is the location: a short walk into the main part of the village but far enough away that it isn't too noisy. But will not stay here again.
