Where to start! We were staying in the coconut village area which is very misleading as is a 10 minute walk from the resort in a construction site across the road. The bungalow we were brought to was beyond filthy. The floors were coated in dust, there were half a dozen dead cockroaches in the bathroom and rodent poo all over the beds! I complained to a very uninterested staff who werent at all concerned and we were moved to a slightly cleaner room (which housed a very large lizard). The breakfast was quite poor and wouldnt be worth paying for. The only slightly redeeming feature of our stay was the pool, however the water was stagnant and felt as warm as having a bath. Overall the food was poor, the staff were rude, the room was filthy and there are much better, cheaper places to stay in Koh Tao

Currently in the process of many renovations, it's easy to tell where the resort has been, and where it's going (certainly good). The room I was granted was amazing. Large bed with plenty of space, and the bathrooms were clean and very up to date. Not a long walk from the beach (literally a 1 minute walk) and the restaurant was cheap and delicious, would definitely come back to this place.

Hotel is extremely dated rooms are big but very worn bathroom 100% needs replacing rusty shower head etc has defiantly seen better days. Hotel rooms are set in garden so be prepared for cockroaches lizards millepede in your room! Not to mention the Mosquitos that get in your room! Staff are pretty unhappy doesn't cost anything to smile we are paying guests right? Pool area is ok I did leave my towel sunscreen and bikini top out which was taken which hotel staff just gave us a shrug of the shoulders when asked, staff are willing to help but seems a great effort for them. Wifi doesn't work in rooms. Breakfast is hardly worth going to! Cold eggs flies in honey nothing worth eating only fruit. All in all I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend hotel.

We stayed here in June 2013 as part of a trip round Thailand through STA.

Our trip was meant to end here before we were to head back to Bangkok and stay 2 nights in a 4* luxury hotel. As soon as we arrived at this hotel we cancelled out reservations and extended our stay.It may have been heat exhaustion, or sleep deprivation but as soon as we checked in, our decision was made!

The hotel is located on the boardwalk and is close to a nightlife area with bars restaurants etc. easy to get to beach bars too.

the hotel foyer is open and airy and next to the well presented spa and pool area.

Across the board walk are some private villas with access to an infinity pool which was lovely to bathe in with the cool sea breeze.

Our room was modern and very well presented with a rainfall shower and modern facilities. very spacious, lovely interior and clean balcony we even had air-conditioning and satellite TV!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They helped us with our travel amendments (2 extra night in the same room, ferry to the mainland, overnight train to Bangkok and taxi transfers inbetween cost approximately £50pp)

very peaceful and relaxing place, highly recommended :)

Stayed here in March for 4 nights then extended our stay to do more diving 4 more nights. We should have moved to another hotel but were too lazy to try. The room was very nice and had a veranda out front. Some of the staff were very friendly but some were not. We asked if they could help us with our ferry tickets but since we didn't buy the tickets through the hotel they wouldn't help. Our shower wasn't draining and they didn't seem too much to care but finally fixed it. The restaurant is in a perfect location, the breakfast was pretty good except the coffee. The restaurant staff seemed more concerned in getting your breakfast ticket from you than helping out finding condiments for your meals.

The pool was very nice and refreshing, a nice break from the beach!

I'd recommend this place but for the location and nice rooms, although overpriced for what you'd expect.

We stayed in one of the fan rooms at the top just off the resort. The room was ok and what you'd expect from a cheapish hut. Room wasn't cleaned once though in 4 days. Staff were not the friendliest and barely smiled with the exception of one or two. Good location and food in the restaurant was nice! The top pool was unbearably hot and made you sweat more when you got in, it was like swimming in warm soup. Also water was very stagnant! The bottom pool was much nicer and cooler though but had only limited sunbeds!

Did my Padi Open Water (SMALL GROUPS! not more than 4) here, with accommodation. 10.000 bath (€ 235,-) for simple bungalow with fan and cold water 4 nights, and open water course 4 days. Which is super super cheap! Off course I dont expect air con and hot water for this price and u shouldnt either. Breakfast was excluded, but for 170 bath € 4,- I had breakfast at corner caffee wich is great. For 9000 bath you can get same course same bungalow, but it is a lot further away from the beach. Staff in the hotel is great! They are strict with the payments, but I guess we have only got ourselves to blame for that. The girl at the reception just does what she is told, but she is the sweetest thing ever. Same goes for the massage ladies, they are one of the best on the island and super nice and sweet. All staff is actually. You will get what u will give in return people. A smile works wonders. The bungalow is simple, clean and with a nice balcony. The resort offers luxurious rooms and bungalows too but than you'll pay a lot more which i think is not worth it. Ask if you can see the room first if you are not sure, they are happy to do so.
Diving school is great!!! Open water with David, great funny guy and really good teacher. Almost everybody at the diving school is super friendly helpful and funny and great to hang out with, the manager is really socially awkward tho, but dont let him make you doubt going there (He had me doing that) it really is an awesome diving school. Especially beer o'clock I really enjoyed that ;). Want to stay longer after diving? You'll get a discount at resort when you did open water there and discount for fun dives for staying at resort. Same bungalow goes for 1000 bath €23,5 p.n normally, than 700 bath € 17.
For the party people.. you are in the middle of party heaven!

Room Tip: Ask if you can see the room first. Bungalows in middle of resort no music from bars. Rooms at beac...
