Wow!. In town for one day from Sairee Beach and ordered a veggie pizza. Was amazing. Just the right amount of tomato sauce. The pizza had a thin crispy crust. Veggies were perfect. And could taste the basil and oregano. We were so pleased. Could not stop moaning throughout the meal. And the white wine was nice. Service was also good. We will definitely be back.

I have been eating a lot of Thai food recently so this was a nice change. I went with a local so I knew it was going to be good from the beginning.

It was a good sized pizza, enough for 2 (240 baht). We had half with 3 cheeses and half pepperoni. As i was hungry I ordered a ham salad which was large with tomato and egg thrown in. It came with fresh bread which was a good extra.

I also had a mixed fruit smoothie (60 baht). There is wifi which is always good as ko Tao Internet is 100 baht/hour.

I liked safari Italian restaurant. It has the taste of italy, which can be hard to find in Asia. Almost forgot i was still in Thailand for a while... A.

look i went to this place once when i first arrived in koh tao. i can't remember what time i arrived but it was quite late. they said they were open but i got a awkward vibe. i ordered a massaman chicken with rice and a egg to make it quick for them. massaman didn't have much chicken at all in it which was disappointing after eating some really good ones. anyway the whole atmosphere that night was kind of awkward. i think it was just me and maybe another table in there sitting in silence with a bunch of staff staring at us eat.
anyway now 3 months later i decided to give it another go as i read some good reviews on here.
went one night. arrived about 10.15pm, very late i know but they looked open and there were still 3 or 4 tables in there. they said they were shut and close at 10pm. thats fair enough, no hard feelings there.
really wanted to eat here though so i tried again for a late lunch the next day. went in took a seat. got a awkward vibe again... they could really do with some funky music or something in this place because when you walk in you feel like your interrupting some kind of staff get together. anyway i got served by some girl with headphones in her ears that was laughing with her friend. i asked for a pizza and was told by the other girl the pizza oven was broken. i asked again to confirm it and she said yea it was broken. again got the vibe of leave us alone, we don't want customers. maybe they didn't want to make a dough or turn the oven on or the pizza maker was away, im not sure. thought i would take a swing by later that night to confirm what i suspected. pizza oven was working fine. i really tried with them as some reviewers were saying that there better than nearby cafe del sol (which is great) and i wanted to give a good review. i give up on this place. sorry
