I stayed there 2 nights. I enjoyed my stay there. Love the beach, love my room. Private with big garden in resort area. They have free transfer on check in and check out date. Have the table set at the bar in the evening also have live music at the bar. Food was delicious. Also Love the sunset view, Infinity pool!! They have 2 pools in this beach resort. Would recommend this resort.

I have stayed there in a wooden Bungalow which is just attached with the sea beach and Yes I really enjoyed the stay over there. The staff service is so so which i don't mind coz I have got what I have been asked. Please bring your mosquito repellent coz there are lot of mosquitos in the evening. The restaurant is very nice and food was good.

Room Tip: If you are not staying in paradise zone, then try to choose wooden Bungalow.

The location is superb and some years ago this hotel must have been very nice.
It seems like the vegetation is taking over, the buildings are lacking maintenance and the service is not what it should be. The reception is also the place where the staff is eating, feeding children, watching TV and smoking.
It is frustrating a place with so much potential being mismanaged.

We spent 2 weeks in this resort (mountain view bungalow) and I have to say that the resort is only average.

The cleaning - which we observed first hand one time - is not very deep (I particularly did not appreciate how they take all the sheets and pillows off putting them on the floor and then they put them back in). Also, we had quite a few lizards in our room (one quite large - 30 cms?!) who left their droppings all over the room (and bed especially). For that reason we never unpacked our suitcase :(( For 2 weeks! When we tried to ask for some other room, we were moved to the same style bungalow where the same happened. Since the cleaning was not too good, we would find the droppings all over the place.. I was particularly worried since I was pregnant at the time.

The staff at the reception was ok but did not understand English much. Still I would expect them to be more helpful.

The hot water lasted for 1 person only.

Generally, nothing spectacular about this resort at all, next time we would definitely want to try something different.

This place is amazing!!! We stayed in the Paradise Zone, which is the part of the resort that is up on the hill with a view. And WoW!!! What a view it is! From the eating area and the infinity pool, you look out over the lush hills and green-blue waters that Koh Tao is famous for. For the price that we paid, I couldn't believe how perfect this place was. The room was clean, comfy, and beautiful, with that amazing view from the deck, which you could take in from the comfy chairs or from the deck tub. The food was fantastic, and I was with Thai people that know the difference between good and mediocre Thai food. The drinks were delicious yet strong (especially the mojitos). And unlike most resorts, the food/drink prices were ubelievably reasonable, especially given that this was one of the nicest resorts I've been to. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful, including the arrangement of all of our activities, which were so fun and also unbelievably reasonable in price. The grounds were well kept and you find just absolute paradise everywhere you turn. The beach was good and the pools were fantastic. The area is chill, but had everything that you would need at pretty easy access (you will need transport if you want to party in the busier areas though).

All in all, I was amazed by this place, especially with the reasonable cost of the room, restaurant, and the bar. I would highly reccomend this to anyone that wants to pay mid-range hotel prices for a spectacular resort stay and experience. I really don't understand why this resort doesn't have a four to five star average.

Room Tip: I suggest the Paradise Zone for the amazing views, eating and swimming experience. However, you do h...

This island is trying to be sustainable, only ruined by tourists who live in a zombie consumer world. It is a wild climate, with all sorts of bugs. If you are not prepared then stay at home. It is excellent value for money if you want to dive, walk/trek, peace and quiet. Not for families, especially those who cannot entertain themselves and appreciate landscape.

Yes the staff are a bit short, but it is hardly a surprise with the guests they have.

They are extremely efficient in reception, and the housekeeping staff are lovely. There is a nice guy (Chokai) in the massage area who can provide you with his home made coconut balm which is a god send for sunburn, and he had a red tree balm which cures insect bites in 24 hours.

This is a quiet haven for those who have time to explore the rest of the island, and the main shopping/restaurant area is only a taxi ride away.

I don't recommend hiring a scooter unless you are experienced and wear a helmet. I heard there were 11 deaths in one week due to scooter accidents and the varied terrain. The heat makes the roads more slippery too. Although Buddha view are pretty good to hire from, and were honest enough to say not to hire the quad either as they can be more dangerous than a scooter if not on flat terrain.

Don't walk alone at night, many tourists out after the Castle party etc (a castle themed bar on a rural route), be prepared to pay 200-400 baht for a taxi per person all the time.

Back to the resort, food not much to shout about but hey ten mins walk and you have so many cafes etc. The rooms are not luxurious, especially the shower rooms, but be grateful, most locals don't even have that. If you walk around you will see whole familes living in shacks without walls.

Oh also, wi-fi everywhere, but difficult to use regular phone to call out internationally due to limited power system, so peace is certainly available.

This is NOT Disneyland, but if that is your idea of paradise, don't bother coming.

Diving, Yoga, good food, walking, secret view points, abandoned hotels- think famous five! (Enid Blyton)

I loved this place.

Room Tip: check for access/views etc - who needs a view when you should be exploring? take a battery fan, buy...

Very unpolite and rude staff, insects in the bungalow, even holes in the towels, electricity not working properly!!! Couldn't stay there, but didn't get back any money - very very unfriendly guy at the reception!! Just horrible, don't go there!!!
