Really nice resort tucked away at the end of Mai Haad beach. Can heartily recommend the 'Romantic Villa' for 2 with a small private beach and great views. The resort was fairly busy when we stayed but apart from dinner you wouldn't really know it as many rooms are fairly secluded. Staff were friendly and their English was great. There was a nice pool at the resort, but no idea why you'd want to use it when you've got pristine blue sea right on your doorstep.
Food was heavily westernised which was disappointing. Even the thai dishes in the restaurant seemed toned down for western tastes, although service is great. Voted with my feet and took a walk to Bam Bams instead which was tastier and far cheaper.
This is a great place to stay for couples or families visiting the island who don't mind splurging the cash a little. Don't be surprised to find the odd millipede, ant or gecko in your bathroom. They're unavoidable on the island so you might as well make friends with them. Couple a stay at Sensi Paradise with a trip to Jamakiri and a bit of diving/snorkelling and you have a perfect stay on Koh Tao.More
