“Wonderful resort, what a tropical paradise on Koh Tao!”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

This resort is truely Paradise, set among palms and tropical flowers. We stayed in a lovely, large bungalow on stilts, with a large verandah (has a daybed on the deck ) overlooking the water. Very comfortable bed with a mosquito net that the staff untie and tuck in around your bed in the late afternoon. Lots of steps in this resort as it is set on the side of the hill overlooking the ocean so if you want to have a view of the ocean you have to tackle the stairs. It is close to the pier and the old town and the resort has their own beach with great snorkeling close to shore. The only complaint I would have is there is not a lot of shade on the beach and the sun lounges could do with some beach umbrellas beside them as it is very hot in the sun. Food at the restaurant, which is right on the beach, is really delicious and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Good variety in the buffet breakfast. They make a great Pina Colada and will deliver it to your room which is a nice touch. Also tea and biscuits delivered to your room for morning tea and fresh fruit daily. The pools are lovely too but not a lot of shade so the water isn't really refreshing, a bit too warm for me. Best room no. 23, great view.

Room Tip: No. 23 is a lovely room with a great view.

We enjoyed our stay at Sensi Paradise. We first stayed at Hotel Thalassa which was nice, but the area was full of young backpackers so we decided to stay somewhere a little quieter. Sensi Paradise was a perfect choice- quiet but only a 5 minutes walk to the pier, restaurants and bars. Also they have a lovely beach access and a very scenic restaurant. We loved the complimentary fresh fruits in the morning and tea and cookies in the afternoon. It was a little annoying to retype the wifi password everytime....the pool was great as well.

Sensi Paradise is a great place to stay on Koh Tao & its service is highly recommended. The staff are friendly & efficient & the resort has excellent facilities. Staff pay attention to detail & the whole resort feels exactly like a tropical island should! The restaurant food is excellent, as well as the delicious buffet breakfast.

The resort boasts numerous pools on various levels & are great to relax in. The standard room is inviting & cosy, with lovely décor & detail, although more storage space is needed. Aircon is fantastic & in-room coffee & tea facilities are a pleasant surprise. The balcony is ideal to relax with a book as well.

Although this resort is top-class, the location is not fantastic. Although it is close to the pier (easy for ferry transfers), it is pretty much in the harbour & one swims amid the boats that are docked nearby. Not a deal breaker, but the noise from the longtail boats can be heard until late in the evening, which could be off putting to some. Keep this in mind when booking.

It is possible to swim right in front of the resort though – the clear waters are ideal for snorkelling. Overall, the facilities are excellent - definitely a luxury resort - but a bit pricey – especially considering the location. Nevertheless, a great stay in Koh Tao!

Room Tip: Rooms further from the beach are less noisy from the longtail boats coming into the harbour.

This place is just like the name says: a little paradise! Each room is a little wooden bungalow set right in the jungle. The bungalows have a huge open terrace so you can spent a lot of time outside. You get all the noises from the nature around you, birds and especially geckos which we heard for the first time. Everything is very clean and the personal is extraordinary friendly.
The hotel has its own part of the long beach and you can simply drop your head underwater and see all the colourful fishes. It´s simply great. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every day of it. The hotel has two great pools, a wonderful open air restaurant and the town is just a 10 minute walk away.

We were Island hopping in Thailand and spent 2 days/nights at this resort. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite and they picked up and dropped off at the dock for free. We stayed in a two bedroom family bungalow which was outstanding. Very traditionall, clean, tidied daily and each evening staff turn down bed and sorted mosquito nets. Pool area lovely and food at poolbar very good also. We ate one night at the beachfront restaurant - couldn't fault the service, food or cocktails. Would definitely go back and stay again.
Wifi - need to log in everytime which was slightly annoying.

We spent the last three nights of our honeymoon and it's been by far the best resort we've been to and I'll explain why:
1) PERFECT LOCATION: the resort is just 5 minute walking from the main island's pier and town
2) FRIENDLY STAFF
3) CLEAN
4) IT RESPECTS THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT
