Description: A quirky restaurant on the main road in Sairee, serving brash & bold new American flavors with a take-no-prisoners attitude. We're not in Kansas anymore folks, so expect meat carnage, sauciness, spice & a large side of balls. Vegetarians reluctantly catered for. You'll definitely visit more than once.

This place raises the bar for island dining. If you love food that has been cooked with quality ingredients and love that is rich and decadent, you better get yourself in here (probably book ahead as spots go pretty quickly).

Some favourites from the many visits we have had are - the Pulled Pork Sandwich comes with delish slaw and fries to die and go to the heavens for - The Lamb Shank is so tender and succulent - Cobb Salad is a great lighter option and still packs in a flavour punch - The Ribs so much succulent mmm meat!

When you come to Bookers you should really try the sides as well, Black truffle Mac 'n'
Cheese is life changing - Do the Dirty Rice it's awesome and so are the Pork beans!

The menu does change often but there is always a great choice to satisfy.

The guys at Bookers, Ali and Chef Shawn are genuinely great people, you will feel right at home.

They also have a great selection of whiskeys, rums, craft beers and wines to wash all that good food down. Ali's Mint Julep is a good way to begin or continue a very good night.

Coming to Koh Tao? Go to Bookers!

The slogan "damn fine food" is more than correct. We went this evening in this Restaurant just because we were so excited of the "south state" and individual style. The service was like the english of the waiter ... perfect.
But i was more than excited of the kreolic cuisine.
Every own component was good but when i ate all together i was amazed .
The lamb with this small taste of choclate the creamy cheese polenta and then a little bit of mild spinach .
Thats wat i called "damn fine food"

My boyfriend and i went by this place a couple of times. But it was only until our last evening that we actually had dinner here. This was because of the relatively high price of the food, being just students.

But wow, i have not ever had a lamb this tasty !!!!!! The meat came straight of the bone and it was marinated for 8 hours.

Also the service was great. The chefs wife take's really Good care of you. And the Thai they hired are trained really good and speak almost the same level of english.

We had a Nice evening with Nice beers and wines. Would definitly recommend this place !

To be clear, although we went to Booker's on two successive evenings, we didn't manage to grab dinner on either, having previous bookings.

But from what we saw, and the comments of people who DID eat, it's to be hoped that this venture will go from strength to strength. Certainly - as others have said - it offers a major break from the norm in terms of the food and drink on offer.

So, from or experience, the latter was great - a great amber ale and a well-chosen red brought home the bacon on both nights - and the vibe is exceptionally friendly and relaxed.

When we visited, they'd not yet been able to get the brunch menu up and running, which was a real shame, because on the evidence of the food on show on both evenings, the huevos rancheros would be something to write home about....

A tiny little place with what I think could be an ever changing menu, as everything is written on chalkboards. Serving a selection of craft beers as well as a good range of spirits and wine to accompany your dining experience. We opted for the feta and watermelon salad to start and for the main the 8hr slow cooked lamb and pulled pork sandwich. All amazing in presentation and more importantly, taste!

Service was impeccable and as Bookers is so small you can't help but feel welcome. Hopefully we can eat here once more before we leave!
