I stayed for three nights and fell in love with the place. My room had a large bed and a balcony with a lounger and chairs overlooking the river. It wasn't the most quiet - noisy dogs in the yard - but could barely hear any traffic and the traditional teak and colourful decor was worth it. No tv or fridge (which meant my father stayed elsewhere) and some rooms don't have air-con (which I found I needed). The breakfast wasn't cheap but was very tasty and they bring you nice extras like banana jam and bacon/sausage when ordering eggs on toast. You can get better value in Lampang but I doubt you will find anywhere with more charm.More
