“Very basic but you only pay for that.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2014

Reception: friendly but no one helped us carry the bags up the stairs.
Rooms: fairly clean if you don't mind some dust hanging from the ceiling and wall.
Bathroom: tiled room with strange showerhead, that did not produce a lot of water and almost no hot ( warm ) water. Toilet in the shower room with no separation.
Breakfast: basic, but enough to get to lunch.
Bikes: there were only 5 bikes, so be fast to get one.
Location: close to the city ( and fast if you get a bike ).
Price: unbeatable. But anything more than that would be unfair.

Wonderful Hotel set in a must visit city,,, This hotel is an oasis or calm and tranquility, The owner was extremely welcoming,, helpful and knowledgable,, passing on points of interest which really made my stay even more enjoyable.
Every aspect of the rooms were comfortable and very clean, my terrace overlooking the gardens was a peaceful area , for relaxing a time .

Room Tip: The city seems to be more active at the weekend, markets ect, But wonderful to visit any time , frie...

We arrived to Lampang for one night. Group of 6 travelling for 18 days to Thailang. This BB is very nice and relaxing place if you come on vacation, carring your own supplies. It is less convenient if you are on road, coming for one night with laggage.

No dinner, very basic breakfast, no laggage assistance. and no restorants around.

This small hotel is set in beautiful gardens and has a really helpful owner--
Bikes are free and the old part of town small enough to ride around easily--with a particularly peaceful river side route.
You can purchase breakfast, but coffee, rice cakes and fruit provided as a free snack

The elephant conservation centre is less than an hour away by public transport--if you want a day's mahout training --best to book in advance

This is a well run, clean, well presented Thai owned small hotel. It does it all very well. Spacious rooms. Nice Gardens. Best bit is the free bicycle usage...great for exploring lampang. Staff can be hard to motivate - but this is Lampang so it all adds to the sleepy charm.

Just had one night here. Accommodation is basic and comfortable in lovely setting. Owner was very helpful in giving directions to Wat Lumpang that I wanted to visit on my way back to Chiang Mai. Would have liked to have had more time to explore the town.

Nice location in suburb of Lampang near the Governor's house and a noisy Temple.
Open air reception with nice gardens; rooms to the side on two floors in a separate building.
Basic facilities, good enough for a one night stay, on our six day road trip. Not much to say really, ...
Breakfast needs to be ordered the night before, with limited choice of Thai and European dishes. Again, not much to say really ...
Tourist highlight was a trip on a Horse and Carriage (Rot ma Taxi) around Lampang. A tradition implemented by King Rama V, as the only means of transport around the City during His reign.
We were picked up at the hotel and took the tour for 1 hour, and were dropped at the Night Market. After dinner, was a 20 minute stroll back to the hotel.

Room Tip: Good for a one night stay if on a journey elsewhere.
