I stayed here last year during my travels for a couple of days. The hotel is lovely and the location is incredible, just next to the river Kwai. I chose the riverside hut as I could not resist being by the river. the room was nice, though I did notice a couple of gaps in the corners. I stuffed those up with a couple of tissues as insect bites are a big bug-bear of mine (no pun intended). Problem solved.
Dinner was great and even involved a little kayak trip to the local takeaway which was a great experience for me. the hotel owner advised me of a local market for the morning that he took me to, and arranged a trip to another market and temple trip for me later. A lovely stay and some exciting trips. The hosts are also wonderful and very chatty.
One slight issue was that it wasn't the cleanest there - the riverhouse had a few cobwebs, the aforementioned gaps in the corners, and there was a little dead gecko in the shower during my stay, but these are small concerns compared to the great stay and I would definitely stay again. Thanks guys!More
