We visited along with our kids aged 6 and 10 who really enjoyed the shows of elephants and crocodiles. Crocodile shows are thrilling. We had hired a car run by Somjit Duangchara who is very helpful and charges reasonably for entire day. His no. is 0814871710.

Like many other reviewers, I was also appalled by the way the monkeys and tigers were kept / treated. These were not necessary as I am sure most people only come for the Elephants and crocs.
There were loads of crocs in different pens / ponds, not being an animal welfare expert, they seem well cared for.
I could not say categorically the elephants were "unhappy" but given the Thai people's long relationship with these animals and their potential to do serious harm (see Tillikum), I have come to the conclusion that they must be reasonably well treated.
Putting these concerns aside, we had a great day out, feeding a fully grown elephant and her calf was the highlight of my 4 y.o.'s trip.
Elephant riding was very expensive at 500B pp (for about 15mins) but could be considered once in a life time experience...

It's shocking how many tourists pass through and don't notice the horrific abide these animals suffer! Entering the park 2 tigers sit drugged chained up barely able to move for people to have there photo taken in 33degree heat. When they got lead back to their cage they both went straight for there water bowl and practically collapsed.
The elephant show was amAzing they knew lots of cool tricks but all the time they were jabbing a sharp hook into them to get them to behave.

After all the elephants were penned up some were even chained with only a meter of movement for at least 2 hours! The ones that could move were pacing which is a sign of distress. Same with the monkeys either pacing or rocking in miniature cages.

The crocodile show involved two guys hauling crocs around by there tails and poking them with sticks.

I would recommend not going here if you do please feed the animals

Yea, the elephant shows and croc show are professional and fun, everything else are just normal to me as any other zoo.

crocodile show (15 minutes duration) was good enough for the trainers to be awarded with some tips from guests. Magic show was just ordinary but the elephant show was spectacular. it shows how intelligent elephants are.
