A lovely budget place to stay. What made it was that the owners were so friendly and helpful. Clean rooms but no toilet paper or water provided, which is fine for the 400 baht per night. Lots of family around giving it a nice atmosphere. Would definitely stay again due to the friendly helpful owner.

Room Tip: Best rooms upstairs but more expensive.

This placed turned out to be the best decision we made in PhangNga town.
We picked it because of it's looks. (restored from the old Portuguese/Sino style hotel)
And while checking in, found out it is the oldest hotel in town and they just opened in November 2013 (5 months ago)
It showed, as everything was in top shape and the family that runs it was super friendly.
No problems at all.
Wasn't even expecting to find free coffee and ovaltine for my boy in the lobby.
Breakfast was good too.
Thanks for a great job.

If you are using Phang Nga as a base to explore Phang Nga bay then this is an excellent affordable option. The hotel is historic and been in the family for over 90 years I believe. Dang has taken over since August and put a lot of work into bringing it up to standard. We stayed in an air con room on the 2 nd floor which was spotless, comfortable and quiet. The AC worked great, bathroom clean, small tv, bed comfortable and big windows. Breakfast was available in the large open main floor...the view from the top terrace is worth the climb up. The bus is within an easy walk from the hotel...just turn right on the Main Street and the hotel is about 6 mins on the right. I would suggest getting a motorbike to hit the cave, temples etc.... We booked a private boat 1/2 day through Dang for 1500 b that didn't include taxi as we drove the motorbike there.
Overall great budget hotel and a plus if you enjoy historic hotels in great condition.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. Its very central in Phang Nga and staff are sweet. Rooms are small but clean. We had a back room so it was lovely and quite at night. We were told by Mr Kean at the bus station that the rooms were 450 Baht and that they included breakfast. When we got to the hotel we found the rooms a lot more but confirmed that the price did include breakfast. The next morning we were very taken aback to find out that we had to pay for breakfast. The breakfast was the worst we have had in Thailand. All in all it was not a great experience.
