I visited Koh Ra for only 2 days 1 night.. Its is definitely worth going for longer..
It is a perfect getaway for relaxing..
It is your typical deserted island.. Although they do have running water/showers and toilets . The use of a generator at nights for lighting and that is all you need..
The tents they provide are a great size with comfortable bedding and pitched under a shelter which makes them cooler as the sun is rising.. Looking out on to the ocean.. Beautiful Morning scene!!
The food is fantastic..
The tour guide Kareem is very helpful and knowledgeable..Ask him anything, he knows the answer!!
He is trained to survive on the island and will teach you about all the plant life and wildlife ..
Also will take you trekking and looking for the wild life he knows where they hide!!!
You will definitely see some Hornbills..
And you can also ask him to take you crabbing!! Something for dinner..
No internet so take a book and relax....
I can't wait to return..
